My wife and I wanted to get a few salads and have never been here so we gave it a shot.
It’s a cool place and at lunch it’s like ordering at a Panera. You order at the counter and get a pager and when the order is up you pick it up. Ordering was easy with the menu directly behind the register area – they also had paper menus to look at if you wished.
I believe one of the owners took our order and he was a very nice guy we enjoyed speaking with him and he explained the pick up process to us.
I ordered a Cobb salad with chicken and added salmon to increase the protein of the salad. The dressing I chose was balsamic vinaigrette.
My wife ordered the Monterey Salad with chicken and the dressing that comes with it.
Both salads were good. The balsamic dressing was very oil forward and I prefer a vinegar forward dressing. I didn’t plan to use much of the dressing anyway so it wasn’t an issue for me. The dressing with the Monterey was vinegar forward and I liked this better.
I wanted more chicken on the salad for the price. I’m so glad I added the salmon which was very good and added the protein I wanted.
We ate outside on this beautiful day.
I’d return to this place future for a salad or to try something else.

Good-tasting food in a counter-service café with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. My biggest complaint is that they don’t have prices on the menu, and I didn’t expect a sandwich to cost $18-something. For a place where you order at a counter, pick up your own food on a plastic tray, and bus your own table, I wouldn’t expect these kind of mid-fancy restaurant prices

We ordered a Reuben, a french dip, & chicken ceasar salad- Reuben was tough ( cut with the grain , which makes it tough ,should be cut against the grain ). The chips that come with the meals were less than you would get in a small bag of chip? The french dip was very small ..
And the salad had 3 tiny slices of chicken and no croutons was all lettuce ! For the prices they charge it was not a place we will be going back unfortunately was not a good presentation or experience . Not sure how they have these great reviews unless something has changed since those reviews were given..
I increased a star on the rating since the owner did respond and was trying to rectify for missing the mark ( may have had an off day) So I do appreciate the fast response in trying to resolve.

This is such a great lunch spot! They have a huge lunch menu with sandwiches, traditional salads, speciality salads, and soups. You can make combos out of any lunch items. They also had burgers, paninis, dinner entrees and pasta.
For lunch, we parked and grabbed a table before ordering, but you can order right when you walk in and then sit. They gave us a buzzer after we ordered and our food was ready quickly, probably within ten minutes.
Everything was fresh and delicious.

I had a wonderful time eating here. The staff is extremely friendly. Jim, the owner’s brother, is an incredibly sweet man who just listens and shares his heart well. The food was incredible. If you’re looking for a speedy lunch, don’t come here last minute. The food is quality. It is fresh and made to order, so it takes time. The environment is extremely quaint. I will be back! Hghly recommend.
I had a soup (cream of chicken) and a California panini combo with chips. I was very satisfied. Jim was even so kind to ask if I still wanted my chips and brought me a smaller bag to store them in It was exactly what I wanted.
I went back and had a delicious chicken BLT wrap and a cup of their lemon artichoke soup. The food here is SO delicious!

While others have gone the iceberg route, F&S is still using great greens. We had the Grains and Greens salad, and the meatball panini. All was good as was the service. Will be back.

I went here for the first time my co worker was talking about how good their food is. I got a chicken fajita pannini with some fresh fruits and it was all very delicious. I highly recommend this place and it has a huge selection of foods 🙂

Fruit and Salad Co. was my choice for meeting for dinner with my sister in law who works at Strong Memorial Hospital and for us coming up from Seneca Falls. It took us about 46 minutes on the threat to 490 and getting off at Bushnell Basin it is very convenient to get to. We met on a Monday evening at 5:30 and were seated right away at a comfy table. Our server Conner was neat and courteous and spot on throughout the meal. There is a small wine and beer list if you want to imbibe, many choices of soft drinks or carafe of fresh ice water placed on the table to share, along with a generous basket of fresh bread and butter. The menu was well beyond just salads and fruit including potroast, pastas and so much more. We chose the following salads: Monteray which had chicken, bacon, tomato, feta cheese, and avocado on a bed of greens with vinaigrette dressing. I chose to add egg to mine. Chris had the Asian salad featuring chicken and oranges, bean sprouts and other Asian veggies with delivered almonds on greens with ginger dressing. Michelle chose the spinach salad which she opted no mushrooms or tomatoes on, but enjoyed with fresh baby spinach, red onions, oranges and egg and she had the dressing on the side. We all proclaimed them delicious! Very refreshing meal and good service.

I’m so glad I found this spot, everyone is so nice and every thing I’ve ordered has been delicious so far. The chicken parm is a large portion and not overloaded with sauce, just the way I like it and with plenty of spaghetti. I’ve also ordered the Pasta lemone and chicken rice soup mmm. They even have desserts from Cheesy Eddie’s. The lemon cake is yum! I will continue to order from here. Thank you Fruit & Salad for providing such great service and food!

Lovely full service dining experience for a casual restaurant. They even have cloth napkins! My only complaint is there’s too much iceberg lettuce in the Towpath salad (not much romaine). I have dinner with a group of friends every month that includes a Deaf friend, and they have a server who knows ASL–what a blessing! And we love the lemon artichoke soup!
