GEM.
We had this place earmarked as a pit stop on our way to Boston from Toronto. My friend wasn’t convinced at first, but I talked him into stopping — and I’m very glad we did.
The hospitality was genuinely next level. Bill, the owner, came over, chatted with us, walked us through the menu, gave thoughtful recommendations, and was just an absolute pleasure to speak with. You can tell immediately when someone takes pride in what they’re building — and he clearly does.
We ordered the roast beef 3-way and the Greek beef. Both were spectacular. Quality ingredients, perfectly balanced, and executed properly — no shortcuts. And that onion roll. To die for. After hearing Bill rave (rightfully so) about his cheesesteaks and the standard of his ingredients, we had to try one of those as well. Again — excellent.
This place is so unassuming from the outside, but it’s an absolute gem. The kind of spot you’re grateful you didn’t drive past.
Hats off to Bill — not just for the food, but for the hospitality and genuinely welcoming atmosphere.
We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I stopped at C & S Pizza at 55 Main Street, Pepperell, MA (01463) on Sunday. From the surrounding towns, Nashua, Hollis, NH and Dunstable, MA, it’s just a short drive. We wanted to get some take-out pizza to enjoy while watching the Patriot’s game against the Texans.
As we drove along, my husband placed an order for a small pizza with anchovies, as well as a small pizza with hamburger. Once inside the establishment, we were greeted by a friendly employee that had taken our order. We sat down for a few minutes and then our order was ready.
We had not been over to C & S Pizza in a little while; we were happy to see that the quality of their food was still very good. Both pizzas had wonderful flavor, and we would definitely go back for more. Haven’t tried other items on their menu, but I picked up a menu on my way out of the place.
We visited there on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of parking. The employee said that we had just missed the rush before the start of the game. If you’re in the area, check out C & S Pizza. Good food, friendly atmosphere, great value.

Was a top tier beef, amazing flavor super tender and pink inside just what you want with a nice beef. Went with light mayo but go as heavy as you want you’ll need it with the ammount of beef you get. The toasted onion roll is salted too something most places dont even think about Great atmosphere inside and the owner and people behind the counter are nice. Will definitely be coming back

My husband and I actively look for good roast beef spots and don’t have great luck unless we drive all the way to the north shore which we don’t like doing. This place completely blew us away. First time trying a beef here and it was PACKED, we definitely got what we paid for. It was flavorful, delicious, and the owner, Bill, was incredibly kind. Took the time to come up to us and talk to us and even gave us a bottle of James River on the house!! This is definitely our new beef spot. Thanks Bill!

I have heard of C & S pizza of Pepperell, ma for a long time due to their roast beef sandwiches . I finally got to try it today and it was worth the trip! Roast beef is freshly sliced daily according to the owner and it looked like it was. Roast beef was nice and rare and thinly sliced. I got the sauce on the side as I’ve heard it might be too much and I did see a sandwich going by that was swimming in sauce . Sauce was served in a little cup and was nice and warm to put some on the cool roast beef . The onion roll was very tasty and toasted just right ! The service was excellent and was brought right to the table . Very courteous staff as well ! Overall, the Super Roast Beef sandwich was delicious and well worth going to C&S Pizza in Pepperell, ma. I’ll be back !

Wow, C&S Pizza absolutely knocked it out of the park with their roast beef sandwich! I’ve been on this amazing North Shore roast beef adventure for about three months now and have hit up 22 spots so far – and let me tell you, this place is something special.
I’ll be honest, I kept putting off the drive from Cambridge because it’s a bit of a trek, but I’m so glad I finally made it out there! Out of all the places I’ve tried, there are some good ones, a few duds, and then there are those rare gems that just blow you away – C&S is definitely in that top tier.
Their BBQ sauce is incredible – it tastes like the classic James River sauce we all know and love, but with their own little twist that makes it just a touch spicier and absolutely perfect. The bun was beautifully toasted and served at just the right temperature, and the cheese and mayo were spot on.
But the star of the show? That beef! Perfectly sliced, cooked to perfection, and served nice and hot. Everything came together beautifully.
What really made my day though was the service. The cook (maybe the owner?) actually brought my sandwich right to the table and we ended up having this great little chat about my roast beef journey. When I mentioned what I was doing, he got so excited and started talking about other top spots like Bella’s and Modern Butcher. Such a genuinely nice guy!
The hour drive from my place means I won’t be a regular, but you can bet that whenever I’m anywhere near Pepperell, I’m finding an excuse to swing by. This place is a real treasure!

Roast beef was unexpectly huge. The owner was out talking to each customer. Very nice!! Service was friendly. 10/10… Happy customer. Everything was great.

The three way superbeef is a masterpiece of style and taste. The onion roll is less bread and closer to toast giving this sammy a unique personality. We also enjoyed a cauliflower pizza which was wonderfully crisp and light for a pizza crust. Hat over my face embarrassed we live a town over and hadn’t been here before.

The beef was absolutely fantastic. I was particularly impressed with how rare it was without being chewy in the slightest. The texture was perfect, and the flavor was incredible. It’s truly one of the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely be back for more!
