Located in a strip mall its quite small inside but the staff is awesome and the food is great. Good portions for a very fair price!!! I would definitely return again if I were in Colorado Springs.

We’ve been coming here for years but lately things are so different in a bad way. Only Israel has kept this place up float. Food is different. Service from front desk lady stinks. My husband asked for menudo and she rudely came to ask if we wanted hominy like no we didn’t ask for pozole ♀️. Threw my ceviche on a plate not a cup as usual.Rock music playing the whole time.I ordered pupusas to go and they were dry and just broken thrown in plate. Not to mention the supposedly curtido Just disgusting.

I came in to Juanita’s for lunch on a weekday. There were several people sitting down waiting to make their orders. I waited almost 30 minutes for the waitress to take my order and another 30 minutes for the food to be served. I also had to get my own menu.
I had Caldo de Res Rojo. The vegetables were very good and cooked perfectly. The portion of beef ribs was decent and there was a right amount of fat. The broth was bland and they lacked a variety of house sauces. The corn tortillas were actually very good.
The restaurant seems to be good but this day, restaurant personnel were having some issues. More than likely, it’s not a restaurant to come back to unless you’re in the area and want to give them another try.

I was scared to move to Colorado Springs because they said the food wasn’t great. But we have gone two times since moving here last week and the food is fresh and delicious.

This little hole in the wall Mexican place is well worth a visit. Food is absolutely delicious, huge portions, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Didn’t try the margaritas but I will next time.

Visiting from Dallas and found this hidden gem. Was not at all familiar with much on the menu, since we are just used to TexMex. Israel, our waiter, was very happy to answer all our questions and made suggestions as to what we might like. The food was so delicious, very authentic. This small restaurant has a friendly and welcoming feel to it and Israel’s pride in the food and restaurant was apparent. He made the meal that much better. Anyone who lives here should give Juanita’s a try. You won’t be disappointed!

5/24/25- stopped over for a snack while waiting for an event to start at the next door anime store. They really didn’t have any appetizers or small plates. They also had on their menu that they sold tacos individually, but when I tried to order just one fish taco they gave me trouble saying I had to order at least two fish tacos even though the menu did not say that I had to. They finally gave up and just let me have one after I kept pointing to their menu. Horrible service and they don’t like to follow their own menu. Then the taco I got was super dry and bland, so bad food as well. I’d recommend skipping this place.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants! Their food is authentic, their menu has a lot choices. From caldos, to tacos, tortas, molcajetes, nopales, and fresh drinks. Israel (server) is very attentive, friendly, and makes this restaurant feel homey! I would recommend to anyone and everyone…. If you want good food, service and an a good dining experience without breaking the bank- this restaurant is a must!!!

Juaunta’s has excellent food, it is authentic. We are from Los Angeles. It is difficult to find good Mexican food here. This is Los Angeles style, it’s our new favorite. The customer service is amazing, we were greeted by Israel, he made us feel at home. He would be is truly a gem. The food is homemade. The restaurant is clean, and he’s a great intimate Atmosphere.
