The atmosphere made it as well as our waiter, Ryan. The food was good, not 5 star. The pasta had a bitter aftertaste, the shrimp and lobster salad was good, not what I would call a salad, and the pork chop was fine, a bit over cooked. We checked in 10 minutes prior to our reservation, 10 minutes after our reserved time, I checked and was told they didn’t know we were here. Some kinks to work out, but a nice evening overall.

We ate dinner in the bar area after work. Much better service than in the past. We have eaten here twice now since the remodel and changing of employees and haven’t been disappointed. Both times the food has been great and the staff friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable as well and the atmosphere is beautiful as always, especially around Christmas time.

Rebecca’s is the quintessential romantic date night venue. The atmosphere is elegant and warm with live piano music and soft spoken waitstaff who are perfect. The food incredible! Seafood is flown in daily and never frozen. The halibut was fantastic and everything on the plate complemented it. Creamed carrots and cauliflower were the base with roasted vegetables. I know it sounds cliche, but our evening was truly magical.

If you spend the night at the Lodge after a lovely evening at Rebecca’s, don’t have the breakfast buffet. It’s mediocre at best and very overpriced.

Showed up for brunch with a party of 12, caught em a little off guard, they were short staffed & it took quite awhile. But this was the perfect place to visit, relax, absorb the beauty of this historic & well maintained facility. The food was delicious & our server exceptional. We received complimentary appetizers. A must see stop when visiting Cloudcroft, NM.

The food was flavorless, to be honest. I was not impressed with it at all. In fact I left most of mine. The mimosas weren’t cold. The menu for kids is very limited. My mom had the Monte cristo sandwich and she really really liked it. The hotel hiw ever, The location is just the sweetes. Love the view. The little shop is super cute and the staff is amazing.

The food at Rebecca’s was absolutely delicious! We had old fashions at the bar which were delicious and the bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the various types of whiskeys they have. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, a little old school “fancy”.
100% would eat there again! the orzo Florentine was delicious and it’s a huge serving.

Menu has changed since our last visit. They now have a ‘Brunch Menu’s on Sunday. I had the Chimichanga and it was delicious, but too much for me. … leftovers Anyway, service was pretty slow, but I overheard staff talking about being short several people. Still, it was a pretty darn good experience.

Ate dinner here a few times while in Cloudcroft. Loved the trout!! Had the full order and the half order two nights and the burger with bacon for lunch. The vegan bowl had wild rice, black beans, broccoli, tofu and brussel sprouts. Tiramisu was delicious as well. Bartender was making good drinks at the bar too. Decent wine list for being limited.

We dined here twice during our stay at The Lodge at Cloudcroft. For dinner we ordered the pistachio fried steak and pistachio rainbow trout. My husband really enjoyed his steak but I found my entree a bit bland. We also tried breakfast on our last day. It was a buffet and not much to brag about. It included biscuits, green chili potatoes, egg frittatas, sausage patties, gravy and assorted fruit. The food was luke warm and the biscuits were dry. But, the service was excellent on both visits. The atmosphere is relaxing and for dinner we really enjoyed the live piano music.
