They do not season anything in this restaurant. This is supposed to be a Mexican restaurant and they can’t even put salt and pepper on anything. Very disappointing, I asked him to season my food when ordering and he couldn’t understand what I was asking. The food is extremely bland, especially when you’re paying $10 for a breakfast burrito.

Shockingly good. It’s dumb how good this food is. They are open late and there isn’t a line. Highly recommended. I ordered “street tacos” and they were bigger than burritos at some places in Kansas City. Authentically cooked and seasoned. I can’t imagine anything being bad on this menu. Go there…Spend money…Tip…It’s a cup and its hard to reach. If you picked up some quarters those are mine and run them back to me.

You guys. I am so glad I found this place. They have the most delicious food here. Everything is made fresh and they have a little bar with all types of salsa. I know going through the drive thru to order would be more convenient but then I’d miss out on trying all these salsas with my meal. If you like real Mexican food, not Tex Mex, then you are going to absolutely love this place. The staff are super sweet and the prices are so inexpensive. 10/10 !!! ❤️

Breakfast burritos were huge & tasty. We tried the bacon burrito & the sausage burrito. Filled with meat, eggs, cheese & potatoes. Tortilla was thin and freshly made too. Salsa bar near the front to add some spice.

My husband and I come here almost every morning now for a few weeks. We love the breakfast burritos they have. They make it right after you order so that when you get your food, it’s hot and tastes great! The breakfast burritos are huge and well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this p l ace to everyone!!

Our son took us to this Mexican restaurant who is not fancy but the food was delicious. I had their chicken quesadilla which was loaded with chicken and was huge so I could only eat half of it & brought the rest home. My husband and my son had two beef tacos which they also enjoyed. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant!

No fuss spot for great Mexican food. Some days better than others but today the California Burrito was perfect! Well seasoned and nice crispy fries. Well toasted on the outside. The sauces are always fresh and the horchata is consistently good!

As far 24 hour Mexican goes this is pretty good. No surprises, solid menu, decent food and service.
I have to say the Adobada Torta was a bit heavy on the sauce, light on flavor. Iceberg lettuce never helps. This is a rarely ordered item I’m sure but seemed lazy or uncaring torta. The rolled tacos were delicious and super crunchy.
Overall Viva El Taco is a good quick bite if you don’t want to travel to something better or like to take a gamble.
