My old Marine buddies and I stopped by for an ice cold Old Style at around noon on a Friday after a hard night of drinking. We stumbled upon it after polishing off a “Breakfast beer” at Sam’s Sip n Go down the street. Klassy (I think that was her name) was super sweet and fun. She was the one who told us to go here. We went. Pure Illinois ambiance. Wow, what can I say!!! We were enthusiasticly greeted by what would become our new buddy, Sam. If you love real people and aren’t a Naperville douchebag, and have some sort of story, GO HERE!!! They even have pot luck on Sunday, and FREE POOL!!! Do yourself a favor and visit this place, even if you have to fly in from Virginia…

Worst place. Bartenders is rude. Tipped her 25 dollars and she called me out that it wasn’t enough. My bad I was $5 off but that was the rudest thing to ever hasten mean while her service sucked and barley payed attention to us and skipped all our songs on the touchtunes. This was the blonde curly haired bartender.

Like Nick said, real people(Sam is great), great view of the chain of lakes, great atmosphere. It’s everything an untamed mid-west bar should be. If you’re from Naperville or anywhere like it, this is not for you. Lakeview Inn is not for beginners but there is a chair in the corner you can observe from.
