My husband and I came to southwind pizza while staying at sugartoad cottage. We loved the place so much we came back the next night. The bartender Morgan was great. We had the bang bang shrimp and pizza. The shrimp we lightly bread and the sauce was great. We met some great people the second night we visited. Will definitely make this a stop everytime we visit!

I came in about 30 minutes to close to grab a pizza to take home and a beer to enjoy while I waited. The service and atmosphere were amazing, great people to talk with. It seemed like it was music night for those willing and that was made it feel homey while walking in! The “pizza” I ended up getting was the flat bread of the week while im told the pizza cook Mike makes was out of this world!

This is a very friendly restaurant with a really cool vibe inside and I wish I’d gotten pictures. The menu was well rounded and had great options. We ordered drinks and sandwiches. Our food was amazing and our server was very friendly, although scattered. Neither of our food orders were quite right (IE I asked for no tomatoes but both sandwiches had them, no big deal, but then we ordered different breads for our sandwiches and those were also wrong, as we were leaving we got offered to go drinks and took him up on that, he brought one but not the other-at that point we gave up lol). The food was absolutely delicious though and luckily none of our requests were due to food allergies so it really wasn’t a big deal. We chalked it up to it being right after what would have been lunch rush times. The locals IN the restaurant were SUPER friendly and even invited us to come back the following evening for jam sessions which we thought was such a welcoming thing. We actually purchased something an employee makes from off the wall which was another very charming addition to our trip and my memories. If we come again, we’ll definitely try out a pizza and see if we can’t make it in for what sounds like an exciting musical experience.

Stopped in for a salad and couple of personal pizzas. The food was good. The atmosphere was very casual and comfortable. The service was nicely attentive. It seemed a little pricey, but it was the meal we wanted, at the time and location that we needed. We will be going back.

Always great service. Chill vibe and fun tchotchkes to admire on the high shelf that encircles the main dining room. Lots of taps for beer, wine and cider. The menu can satisfy omnivore, vegans, GF. Be patient if you walk in on a busy/weekend night. Tables do turn over and the staff works hard to get you seated. They post their weekly specials on social media.

My wife and I enjoyed walking around the town, everyone we met was friendly. The historic courthouse area was interesting to see. We took quite a few photos. My wife bought a cute purse at “Cattails gifts” and a couple sweaters and 2 pair of cool socks for me from “The Cottage”.

Classic chill atmosphere, pizza with homemade crust, Grateful Dead bootleg in the background, super friendly folks. Favorite pizza varieties named after local nautical landmarks, with GPS coordinates. Doesn’t get any better!

The food was very good as was the service. We dined on the porch and it was the perfect day for it. I had (and thoroughly enjoyed!) one of the specials, the flounder po’ boy. The only down side was that they are understaffed like everyone else these days and that led to tables not being bussed in a timely manner. If you know someone in need of work, send them to a local restaurant!

My pizza was fantastic! The Philly sandwich was okay, the jerked chicken sandwich was good. Wide variety of beer on tap, friendly staff, great atmosphere.
