What a GEM of a place! Soooo glad we stopped. $1.99 taco Tuesdays! (Their tacos are amazing) and a margarita special on Mondays! Been driving by for a long time and never stopped in. Ssoooo glad we did. Super friendly staff…shout out to Hannah, Juliet, and Leaha for making out stay super enjoyable. I highly recommend the carne asada street tacos! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and great people….we WILL be back very soon.

A fun themed, nice new place in Tyler I found very impressive. The food was great, we had lots of leftovers. The margaritas were fantastic and did the job. The frescos were very nice. The restaurant very well kept. The esthetics were amazing down to the vustom epoxy tables.

Atmosphere is very modern and fun, not your typical Mexican restaurant. Service was good minus language barrier. Food was great. Chips , salsa and black beans, yum. The food my date got was sooo good. We honestly should have shared it because it was SO much food. His food came in a stone mortar looking thing and was boiling hot for the whole dinner. It was delicious but it was really really hot. I was craving nachos and it was a big mistake because they dont have good nachos. They were brought out flat and soggy and they didn’t dress them with anything. The meat was also weird in texture. The cocktail menu would probably be the Highlight of the dinner. So many extravagant and unique decorations and flavors for each cocktail. I wish I had tried them but they were almost $20 each. There was one with a rubber duck and they had a cotton candy machine for some suspended cocktail with cotton candy. So fun but the bartender was also kind of rude. He seemed occupied with other things even though the restaurant was empty which I don’t doubt he was. But when I ordered my drink I also told him what I wanted for my entree and he just walked away. He didn’t take my dates order or ask any further questions. He talked to some of the other guests for a long time. Eventually my date just ordered for us like 15 minutes later.

This was an awesome, random find! The drinks and food were so good. The atmosphere is really fun. We were there for a birthday and their singing is by far the best – complete with light up board, poms poms, hats, and 50 cent playing! Makes for a fun birthday. Leah was our waitress and she was incredible even for just 3 days in. Will definitely go back!

I had the best experience at Aztec Urban Restaurant! We came in about 20 minutes before closing on a first date, and instead of feeling rushed, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome. From the friendly host, to the sweet young man who brought out our chips and salsa, to our amazing waitress Kaitlyn—everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
The atmosphere was beautiful—contemporary, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, which made it the perfect spot for a first date.
And the food… wow. The fajitas were hands down the juiciest, most tender, and flavorful fajitas I’ve ever had. Absolutely unforgettable!

The last place that was here didn’t last long so let’s see how Aztec does. It’s pretty funky inside, cool looking, lots of neons.. lotta Aztec stuff in here, cool looking bar with plenty of liquors. The seating is really cool.

Great new spot! We have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed it. They even have some really good lunch specials. For example, the fajita lunch special is only 14 bucks and it is a lot of food. You can easily make 3 meals out of it.
I still think that an outdoor patio area would have been much better. All good though. We will still be coming back regardless of an outdoor patio area

Something a little different for Tyler and definitely worth a try. Interior is very fun with unique wall murals and great lighting. Feels cozy and intimate. Has a great bar and cocktail menu. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Large menu with some novel items. Appreciate that Reuben had recommendations and knew his stuff! The dishes we had were very good. A little pricey compared to competition, but overall, a good addition to the Tyler food scene and recommend giving it a try.

Our server Hannah was amazing! Super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. She checked in on us the perfect amount, kept drinks full, and made great recommendations. You can tell she really cares about her guests. We’ll definitely be back and will request sitting in her section again!
