Was told by a coworker to try this place. Husband finally had a Saturday off and we went. Had the Breakfast Buffet. Gotta tell ya, best buffet eggs Ive ever had. Also had very crispy bacon, Jimmy Dean type sausage, French toast strips, hash brown casserole that seemed homemade, fried apples (like cracker barrel), beautiful homemade biscuits and sausage gravy.
We enjoyed it all! The biscuits were the best Ive had from anywhere. Soft and fluffy on the inside, just enough crisp out the outside.
Definitely a place we would visit more if they were open on Sundays. Hubs wont have many Saturdays off to enjoy this again
We got there right at 9am, perfect timing. By the time we left at 9:45, the place was filling up.
9 out of 10 (small deduction for no Sunday hours, and the sausage was a little too salty for us, our opinion of course)

Greeted as soon as we walked in and the server came soon as we sat down. The farmer burger was really good and the onion rings were really good as well. They were sold out of the potato soup so we got the broccoli cheese, definitely recommend. The prices were fair and I’d highly recommend trying this place out. Can’t wait to try out the breakfast buffet on Saturdays.

The service here is top-notch! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and our server arrived soon as we sat down. The prices were fair for the quality of food. I particularly enjoyed the Farmer burger and the onion rings (both really good). Even though the potato soup was sold out, the broccoli cheese was an excellent substitution and I definitely recommend it. Highly recommend this spot—can’t wait to try the Saturday breakfast buffet!

Ole Rooste surprised me with its delightful family atmosphere and delicious food, we had the salmon broccoli salad and the chicken fried steak, potatoes and green beans which did not disappoint! All at an affordable cost. Would very much recommend all near Connersville to try, you will not be sorry. Also service was amazing

The portions are huge for the price. The service was awesome and the food was delicious. While we were eating dinner we didn’t realize that they had closed but they did not rush us to hurry up and get out in fact one of the owners sat there and talked to us and told us a little bit of the history of how their restaurant became. I most definitely will go back if I’m in the area again and I would highly recommend to go try this restaurant

This place is always great! Their tenderloin is the best I’ve ever had in the whole world, their Memphis rub wings are superb too! Their coleslaw is even amazing! Service is always good, and it’s decorated seasonally with lovely decor. It’s always clean and their bathrooms are spotless and cute!

We went for Valentine’s Day and me and my wife both ordered steaks medium rare and both came well done and were very dry. Was unfortunate as based off the other reviews I was pretty excited to go.
Edited review based off the owner response. Unfortunately at the time we had other arrangements after dinner so we were unable to wait for corrected steaks, but I should have still reached out during the dinner to talk with them about it so that’s not their fault.

Amazing food and service. This is for sure 5/5. They have pretty good specials throughout the week and also have some limited outside seating. The steak is some of the best I’ve had! The wait time is a little higher but it’s understandable as it’s one of the only nice sit down places to eat in Connersville.

Beautiful decor. Feels very much like a home atmosphere. For the number of people waiting to be seated, the wait time was very minimal. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food tasted ok but neither in my party were very impressed with the quality of the food. The burger was a frozen GFS style pattie but the options for toppings were expansive. You get a choice of fries, tator tots, or coleslaw with a burger. One in my party opted to pay 1.75 extra for onion rings and was served 4 rather small onion rings. Definitely not worth the upcharge. The friendliness of the wait staff made up for the lack in food quality.
