Wow!
We went here tonight and loved every bite. The menu is very unique and the staff are very friendly and kind.
The atmosphere is very relaxing – fancy yet casual at the same time. It would be a great spot for everything from a family dinner to a date.

There are many great restaurants in Hudson, but none of them manage to achieve what Manor Rock excels at: consistent excellence. They don’t have bad nights or bad dishes or bad tables. They pay attention to every single detail of the guest experience, with service that’s attentive and personalized but never overbearing or pushy. The extensive wine list, though initially intimidating for someone like me, is made approachable and even fun by the staff’s perfectly-tailored recommendations. I’m never afraid to try something new or unfamiliar here – in fact, I’m excited because I know that no matter what, it’s going to taste incredible. I had head cheese last night. Head cheese! It’s something I would have never ordered for myself anywhere else, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. What really stands out about the food here is the massive respect they show to each and every ingredient that’s put on the plate. Come here, over and over, you won’t regret it.

Have eaten here many times and it is remarkable every time! Last Saturday we had the bass, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Tar tar also was sooo good. Highly recommend the cured meats (must get bread and butter with jambon blanc) which are from pork raised by the restaurant’s farm nearby- so delicious. Atmosphere is the most lovely, chic, sexy in all of Hudson and the staff are knowledgeable and beyond warm and helpful. Best restaurant in town by far.

Exciting menu, attentive and knowledgeable staff and skillful execution of thoughtful dishes. Incredible wine list and cocktails! Manor Rock is such a great addition to the Hudson Valley (and has wonderful owners)! A must visit for sure!

This was one of me and my husband’s top 3 meals of the year (if not the past couple of years)! First, the ambience inside the restaurant is lovely and cozy. Our wait staff was very kind and helpful. Lastly, the FOOD—wow. We ordered a small plate that consisted of rice, seafood, nduja, and morel mushrooms. For mains, we got the lamb loin (negi, cilantro, nuoc cham sauce) and golden chicken (parsnip puree, baby bok choi). The depth of flavor in all these dishes was exquisite and not overpowering. It’s also been a while since I’ve eaten something and couldn’t pinpoint all the flavors. The dishes are both straightforward yet new. I know I could never recreate those flavors on my own. I feel so lucky we got to have a meal here and would highly recommend.

The food was good if a bit preciously portioned. The bartender was good but slow and acted as if he were creating life rather than pouring bourbon over ice. The place is expensive as are most these days, but the hidden/over-the-top charges were irksome: Bread was $5 and butter was $2 [just charge me $.50 more for every dish and be done with it]. Beef was priced by the ounce [?!]. And, most annoying of all: We were encouraged to share but then hit w a 2% sharing charge [!!]. C;mon, people.

Top notch, quality and creative farm to table dining. I had the trotter special for Halloween although I never had it before it was expertly prepared and delicious. Salads were farm fresh and excellent.

The service and atmosphere were excellent however they offer a very limited menu with no fish option the evening we dined . We had cabbage entree which was nothing special and waygu steak which was very tasty. The portions are very small for the prices charged not sure I would return.

Dining at Manor Rock is a must if you’re in Hudson. Farm to table sounds like a cliche at this point, but the folks at Manor Rock offer literally the best, most mind-blowing version of this approach to fine dining. Expect to fall in love with flavors and dishes that are incredibly unique, stunningly executed, and which instantly taste like new classics! Cannot recommend highly enough! One detail: the gf bread is the best! And if the head cheese is available, get it! Best I’ve ever had, and I love the stuff!
