For started Starting off, my family and I are from the southernmost point of South Florida out in the Redlands, and I myself have opened four still-successfully-run Italian restaurants in the Florida Keys. They built a beautiful new retirement home right down the lane from the Sims Furniture place down Yonder for themselves & had me tag along.
Furthermore, most would agree one of the most pivotal and critical components to any well-functioning operation is the integrity of the company and the values they stand for. Being new to the area, I got straight to some type of work doing Uber Eats and found myself surveying Inverness, Lecanto, Crystal River, and beyond — that whole triangle, daily, in and out, including all the long country back roads. The owner of the Lecanto location and Crystal River Marco’s operation happened to be there the day I finally had an order come in 4 Marco’s. He noticed my interest in how their varying Products, etc., because of my love for Italian culture I always check out pizza places how efficiently there run. The owner had so much pride and respect for the originator of the brand and knew his operation front to back. He took pride in speaking on what he serves day in and day out to his community & loved uplifting the Brand & also his all star Staff.
Birthing that notion they’re very bubbly and seem 2 be excited to be there contributing, which shows a very healthy work environment — and in my eyes, that always creates a superior product.
I had decided to go in for myself and finally try their pizza after being convinced by two girls at the front counter originally, who were very, very personable and professional.
Not only was the pizza delicious, but it tasted fresh and made with real TLC. I enjoyed every bite. The shift lead — Breezy,I think was her name — wow, what a brilliant mind she has. Some people you can just tell. Her team, her, and everyone else are definitely handling business and making it happen. I’ll continue giving them my business, as I was left very satisfied long after the meal was Finsihed;

We paid 16.99 for a triple pepperoni pizza, they put about 3 pepperoni on each slice, then I asked for my money back, the General manager offered to make us another pizza, they basically made us the same pizza, he said that it was the industry standard! Really, don’t advertise what you don’t sell and charge extra for it!!! I will never go back, little Ceasars around the corner is cheaper and much better! What they are doing is false advertisement!

I am writing this review to commend the excellent customer service I received from the GM, Jason, of the Lecanto Marco’s Pizza. Without going into too much detail, there was a big problem with the delivery; not because of the Marco’s driver but because this particular driver was from Door Dash, who are sometimes utilized when there is an overabundance of deliveries. Jason, the manager, went above and beyond to remedy this situation and make things right, even though it was not his fault or that of his staff. Bottom line: this gentleman made me feel like a valued customer and was genuinely concerned that I had a problem. If every retail business had a store manager of this caliber, then customers and employees alike would be so much better off. Thank-you, Jason!

We ordered for takeout recently, from the Lecanto store (recently opened) and found our new favorite pizza place! .
The app is a little clunky, but the pizza was delicious… We normally order from Domino’s, at Marco‘s pizza… Had a better “cheese”, and much more flavorful crust.
Pick up was efficient and on time… also for the first time, the young lady at the counter, confirmed my order with the receipt and then verified with each of the items on the counter that the order was correct.
The pizza is more expensive than Domino’s but I read online that Marco’s uses more cheese and it’s always fresh compared to frozen pellets used by Domino’s… and that the dough is made fresh daily. In the Florida spirit… Tuesday is BOGO… our new pizza night!

I called in an order, they told me it would be ready in 20 mins, asked for my name and everything, I get there 20 mins later, they told me they didn’t have my order but they could replace it and it would be another 45 mins. I walked out.
Who did I talk to on the phone a ghost?!?? I even verified the number I called, the number I called from and the Google listing (to make sure I had the right store…)
Get it together. Your pizza tastes great but it would be nice if I actually got to eat it tonight…

I spoke to Veek today January 3 2026 told him this was our 1st time getting food. Veek is an amazing kind very nice across the board. The FOOD we got pizza and salad. Everything was AMAZING The croutons were the best I ever had we will be going there from now on. Very GOOD GREAT JOB TO HIM AND THE STAFF.

Marco’s Pizza is a delicious excellent pizza place. They have their own amazing taste. Before they officially opened they gave away free medium pizzas. They would not even accept a penny from you. Very great friendly people. They are excellent on timing the wait time is minimum.

How many times do we need to order a pepperoni and mushroom pizza before we actually get what we ordered!? We don’t want onions or sausage. This is the second time they got our order wrong. This pizza looks good, but if we can’t get what we want, we won’t place another order.
