Good menu. However, the seating and dining area are quite limited. There are only a few patio tables out front. Overall, less ideal for quiet conversations, as this location tends to be very busy and has the smallest seating capacity. Most customers prefer to take their orders to go. That said, the smoothies are great, and the atmosphere is casual if you choose to stay.

Ordering takeout from the app is easy . I only get smoothies they are always ready , usually good . Overall good customer service although the men are friendlier than the women but on a consistent basis service has been decent EXCEPT ordering delivery from the app. Prices are higher , service is ridiculously slow taking over 2 hours for 1 smoothie delivery ($18) .no way to cancel
The order, I just had to wait it out . No accountability from The franchise either as they shrug their shoulders and blame DoorDash. They want me to call DoorDash & see what the hold up was but I ordered through their app & didn’t get any info from DoorDash about the order because Tropical Smoothie is their customer not me. Didnt even apologize just keeps blaming DoorDash but again that’s who they use , I came through their app and they should be the ones to make that right. I am their customer. They are DoorDash customer.Poor poor service good thing I had positive carry out experiences or they would get 0 stars .I will use another franchise whenever possible but. Do better Oakwood!

Every Friday for the past year and a half I have celebrated my own weekly event called #SmoothieFriday If I am in town I grab a smoothie and treat myself with a little taste of heaven. Staff is friendly and funny. I love being able to pay via the app in the store. From walking in to walking out I am in their for a combined 4 minutes. Fast service with a smile.

The smoothies here are great. I’ve been here a few times now and tried most of the smoothies. All the flavors I’ve tried have been delicious! You can also change out or add ingredients to your smoothie. The staff are also usually willing to make a completely customized smoothie as long as they have the ingredients you request. If you’re in the mood for a smoothie, I definitely recommend Tropical Smoothie.

The smoothies are decent, since Tropical is one of the few places in town that actually uses fruit. But absolutely every time I go in for happy hour, they try to cash me out without applying the happy hour discount.

this Tropical Smoothie is the worst. I’ve waited over 20 minutes for a simple smoothie. The employees don’t care. The place is also dirty—tables sticky, floors a mess, and trash overflowing. The workers just stand around talking instead of cleaning. Customer service is terrible too. They act annoyed when you ask a question, and half the time they get the order wrong. Definitely not worth the wait or the money. Never going back.

The workers here struggle to understand your order, find it on the register and keep up with orders. They have 10 backlogged orders while writing this review that haven’t even been looked at. 3 workers all panicking seeming to not know what to do. Dashers are waiting to pick up for 15+ minutes.
