This place is the Best! The owners are the sweetest and always very accommodating with helping us plan for our special events. I grew up from childhood until my early adulthood frequently visiting & ordering cakes and pastries from Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken. They don’t call Buddy Valastro The Cake Boss for nothing. His cakes were always amazing. Cameo Bakery runs a very close second. Always super fresh and absolutely delicious. I’ve been ordering from them for about 13 years. They never disappoint. One of our family favorites is the carrot cake. Truly all of the cakes & pastries are just yummy!

Joyce is a local gem. I couldn’t find anyone in the Jersey Shore area to make a custom Spice Girls cake for my birthday. And then we found Cameo Cakes. Joyce consulted with us and took all of my reference pictures into consideration. It was last minute and I knew I was going to have to add my own embellishments because it was a tall ask, but Joyce created an amazing foundation for me to have fun with and the flavor and price point were unbeatable. All my guests asked who made the delicious cake!!

I purchased almond danish to eat same day. They were dry and hard and so I returned them to the shop. The attendant said people will microwave these danish to make them palatable or dip in coffee. No surprise (or apologies) that they were stale. I left them behind on the counter.

This bakery is the BEST. We had our wedding cake made here. Over the years we stop in regularly and pick up some goodies to take home. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies,bread, etc. all made fresh. I am eating a large chocolate chip cookie as I text this.
Followed up with a visit to Joyce; Got some fresh cookies, cupcakes, & fresh rolls, all very fresh and excellent with the morning tea!!!! Also love the variety that she always has in stock. Need to stop in again, as I have eaten all that we got.
