We heard of this originally on the TV show Phantom Gourmet, and finally got for a dinner in mid January. This was a truly excellent dining experience.
The dining room on the first floor is simply and beautifully decorated and there is very nice background music playing (softly). It is a very comfortable room and easy to have a conversation
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive.
The food is outstanding. They had French onion soup on the menu and it was delicious and arrive very hot. For entrees we had the lamb chops and the Portuguese style fish stew – both were excellent. We split the Coco Daniel for dessert which as delicious and not too filling.
We’ll definitely be back!

Our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. We were welcomed with warmth and true hospitality. The owners have clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner.

Lovely place to dine but average dishes, unfortunately. I would love to spend more time here for the vibe, but the food quality just doesn’t match the price or expectations. We got a chicken sandwich that was dry and somewhat bland, a salad that seemed underdressed, and some okay fries. Probably won’t go back.

Just a gorgeous spot.
My husband’s second time there and my first. My salad was amazing and the clam chowder was out of this world. The cocktails were well thought out
(I think my husband’s fish was missing it’s lemon sauce but, he still enjoyed it.)
Get a dessert to share. The strawberry shortcake was just the right icing on the cake. 🙂
And, finally…What are those little lettuces?? Just adorable.
All made for a lovely afternoon.

Clearly a lovely spot with Terrific ocean and bay views and great at sunset. Service can be very slow and then very fast, as the wine and beer did not arrive until 30 minutes later at the end of the appetizers but at the end, our waiter was there 6 times in five minutes removing items as soon as we were done with them. The food was good but as other reviews noted, not “fine,” rather simply good comfort food.

We three were seated upstairs & watched a setting sun across the harbor, while enjoying mussels, salmon, lamb, pasta & more. The joyful staff truly treated us like family — an evening we will long remember.

Absolutely the best sirloin I’ve ever had. It was perfect. The fries in steak sauce and juices. The greens, carrots and squash. OMG . I wanted to eat my plate. The service was very upscale also. Not use to this type of food or service. Can’t beat the view either.
