It is hilarious how the Google app will ask you to write reviews on food places like McDonald’s and KFC and Burger King that I’ve not been to yet. I guess I’ve driven next to and then this one pops up that I have been to and I’ve written reviews about many times in previous years .
It is a wonderful spot to go, heads and shoulders above those other locations.
In past years I posted the recipe for their special dipping sauce, which is like crack and makes this chicken outrageous.

This is a must if you have never had Kiwanis BBQ! We try to get it on the way to AND from the beach. The taste is amazing and it hasn’t changed since I’ve been coming for the past 10+ years. Open nice and early around 8:30am on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer.

Definitely worth stopping for! Eating at Kiwanis is a really unique experience. You drive or walk up, and you can either get just chicken or chicken with pickles and a roll. The chicken is tender, smoky, and well seasoned.

The last 2 times, the chicken has been burnt and very dry. Today it was dry, burnt and tasteless -no salt no pepper no seasoning. I think I’ll switch back to greenwood next year! You know when you don’t season the chicken and you know when you leave it cooking too long! I can go buy and do my own chicken cheaper! I’m just trying to help.
