This is definitely one of Hagerstown’s hidden gems. Dressing up close to business casual is ideal here in my opinion because the atmosphere feels first class and it is not a loud space. It is also relaxing because you can view planes coming and going here and there through the big windows they have. The staff are very helpful and polite and the food is amazing. The Seafood Boule appetizer was like a crab dip and the bread was a perfect match. The B-52 burger was kind of sweet and savory with a delicious pretzel bun and a nice crunch with the deep fried bacon. The Mile High Club was a perfect ratio of all ingredients and enough mayo so it wasnt dried out. The Creme Brulee special flavor of the week was vanilla, and tasted sooo good. Runways has a great looking menu with a respectable price range. The parking lot is a little small and a reservation might be ideal at certain times. I cannot wait to go again!

The crab cakes from Runways are superior quality!!!! I was blown away at just how delicious they are. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is clean and well decorated, and the bathrooms are fancy and always so fresh and clean. Don’t get me started on their desserts. Crab cakes and desserts are just two of the many excellent options on the menu. Highly recommend The Grill at Runways. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

My wife and I have dined here many times. The staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and the food is always TOP NOTCH! I’ve sampled many of their regular menu items, as well as many of their weekly specials. No matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong! And with their generous portion sizes, you will always leave satisfied, and most likely with leftovers for later! If you haven’t been here, make the trip. I guarantee you’ll be glad you did!

Extremely nice people food was okay only got one drink during my meal but I can’t blame it on the waitresses I saw 17 tables that were occupied and only two waitresses. Having said that I think they were doing the best job they could. P.S steak was perfectly medium rare cooked it just didn’t have a lot of flavor and I’m not one to add sauces to my steak I actually like the taste of a good steak.

Whether you’re just passing through or here to stay. You need to stop here! Very good food. Including the kids meals. Full bar. Really cool vibe and atmosphere. Service is great also. Sit by the window and watch planes coming and going while eating and conversing. Definitely recommend!
