Very average. My friend had hyped me about this place but the food did not live up to the mark. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. You get enough food to fill you up for lunch for reasonable price. Honestly, if you can spend five dollars more, just eat at off campus Asian restaurants that do a much better job.

The boba is okay and so is the food. There could be more vegetable options. The biggest issue is how crowded it gets! It’s a popular place for lunch.

One of the go to spots on campus. They give you a lot of food. The staff is nice. Open at pretty good hours, and they have boba. My only complaint is what others are saying, the food is greasy. Sometimes it’s okay but there are times I’ve gotten stomach aches from eating here.

I’ve tried eating here 3 times now & am officially calling it quits. Their vegetarian options are disappointing & literally all taste the same in a bowl. The ramen is sad & flavorless with weird floating corn in it — I literally became a sadder person while eating it. Got boba tea today & they were out of 3 ingredients & the boba is so sticky & impossible to get through the straw. Just walk to Craig instead of coming here.

Update: Against my better judgment, I ate here again since I didn’t want to walk in the cold. A year later, it’s still the worst place in Oakland. I got a rice bowl and the rice was watery and undercooked. All of the main dishes are greasy and dissatisfying (and I do like greasy Asian food!). I am not a resentful person, but I came back to edit this review a year later because I just want to reiterate how much I recommend eating literally anywhere else.

Don’t get the rice or fried rice, it’s 50/50 whether or not you’ll get clumps of mush or properly cooked rice. The noodles are always pretty oily. Definitely better alternatives on and off campus.

food is so-so but the portions are tiny, especially for the price. it’s waaaay overpriced. also, service is slow and inefficient, and there are always long lines at lunch and dinner times that move at a snail’s pace. on top of all that they’re frequently out of certain foods e.g. brown rice, general tso’s chicken… if you have more than 15 minutes to spare, it’s much better to head to craig street than get ripped off at this place.

Terrible service, terrible food. Don’t eat here.

Edit: I’m editing this review to 5 stars. Originally, I reviewed this location when it was called iNoodle. Thankfully, that place has closed down. Since there’s a new restaurant owner, I believe it’s fair to remove my previous 1-star review.

I got the eggplant with sides of noodles and white rice. It was a lot of food and really tasty. Note that 2 sides are included with an entree

My favourite spicy dry hot chicken in town is served here. I tried it when I was in college and I go here when I can to eat this dish.
