Well we tried Sammy’s for the first time tonight. I wanted to love it but I dont find myself honestly saying that. I do find it to be over priced especially once I saw the portion sizes. By the time taxes and credit card processing fee were added that was around 7 or 8$ in additional fees. The flavor was decent, but mild. It was also very greasy, which I don’t particularly mind but can be difficult on the digestive tract. I got the thin crust pizza. Did not particularly care for the pepperonis being underneath of the cheese because then they don’t crisp up, but that is just a personal preference ultimately. If I had known that was the way it came I would have requested them placed on top. Maybe the double thick crust would have been the better option, I may try that at a later time. I Did not try any of the soups or salads but I don’t think we were missing out on much. Would I eat here again? Sure. But is it worth the price? Absolutely not.

Took me a long time to get around to trying out Sammy’s, and I wish it hadn’t. I kind of ended up going in between meal times so it was not busy at all. I tried some pasta and garlic bread. The pasta was good and the garlic bread was amazing. I totally expected it to be harder and crunchy, but it was soft and flavored perfectly. The only critique I have was the chicken I ordered with the pasta really didn’t have any flavor and/or it just didn’t pair well with the pasta. I can’t wait to come back and try their meatball and/Italian sausage instead. I also hear great things about the pizza and will want to give that a try as well! Overall a good experience and I plan on coming back to try more of their menu options.

I didn’t get feeling that my business was appreciated. I wasn’t greeted when I entered. The place was almost empty. The guy just stared at me as if I knew what the served. I asked for a menu and he just nodded his head toward them. I ordered a pizza and a 2 liter Pepsi and he told 20 mins said you have to walk around and get you own Pepsi. Minutes later a couple walked in was promptly sitted. 15 rolled by and their pizza was being served. I waited what seemed like 40 mins and was finally served. I didn’t getting upset. I am a former New Yorker who considers themselves a “Pizza Snob”. I would never have thought that in Minot ,ND I would be blown away by AMAZING pizza! If you are ever in Minot Sammy’s is the place to make time to stop and eat at. I guess I am starting to understand the phrase, “Why not…. it’s Minot!” You will thank me for this suggestion…. just saying!

Ordered the family Spaghetti w/extra meatballs. Daughter picked up a personal order and I called and spoke to Will. He informed me that the hostess was new and realized the small mistake. Ordered a pizza for the first time from here for delivery and they sent the wrong order! What we got looked like came out of the trash, and was not at all what we ordered. They offered us credit and we accepted it. When we called to ask for another pizza to give them a second chance, they said they weren’t tracking the credit for a new pizza and instead offered $10 off our next order. Absolutely will not ever be ordering from here again.

We’ve had Sammys a few ti.es and loved it but today on father’s day it was a long wait for a call ahead order and the crew wasn’t able to manage from what I observed..Pizza wasn’t crisp like normal..limp and doughy and few ingredients and not even cut..ps we cut the pizza..where is the supervision and quality

Sammy’s beef, mushroom and onion pizza is hands down the best pizza made! Don’t dismiss this incredible combination of flavor simply because you never order pizza with these toppings. Trust me!! One taste and you too will drive an hour and a half in snow to get your fix!!
