Amore Italian Grille is a casual chic Restaurant with a fine dining mentality. From the Owners of Ambli and Latin Social, this new concept is opening in University Village. We are focused on the fresh and simple style of Southern Italian cuisine, yet incorporating Northern Italian influences. Amore represents the Love we have for our Guests, the Love that goes into preparing the Food and our overall Love for Hospitality. Amore Italian Grille will be Opening January 29th and will be open 7 days a week 4pm – 9pm.

First, let me be completely transparent and share that when my husband made this reservation, it was actually still a different restaurant, Ambli Global- but we chose to still give it a try- what an EXCELLENT decision!!! The food, service and ambience was everything. My husband and I are celebrating an early Valentine’s Day and this restaurant did not disappoint-we are leaving satisfied with leftovers and I am excited for lunch tomorrow. Service was impeccable. Attention to detail, meeting every need- this was truly an incredible experience- The owners, Kelly and Pariza are killing it- an awesome Italian restaurant in University Shoppes is right on time. My husband ordered the pork porterhouse- was incredibly smoky and tender with a delicious salsa verde- I ordered the branzino- tender and flavorful on the inside with a crispy bite for that perfect contrast- yum! Our sides included the homemade Parmesan mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts- everything was prepared with care and plated with intention. We did get appetizers- I forgot to add that- we ordered the arancini and calamari – yes, that was good too! For dessert, we selected the lemon sorbet with berries and it truly was a light palate cleanser to round out our evening. Run- don’t walk- to try this incredible new gem on this side of town!

It has been a minute since we last visited Ambli. Honestly they were better than ever. My husband and I were both super happy with our meals!
I had the Schwarma which was incredible. Toum was delicious! He had the Tacos Pastor and I thought for a minute he was going to lick his plate.

What a great restaurant; from the menu selections to the ambiance. But most importantly, the food is exceptional as well as the service. I’m a huge fan! This is coming from a gal that was once in the hospitality industry so my standards are pretty high. If you have not been to Ambli; I highly recommend it.

This was some of the best food that I’ve had in a while. The staff were really good and the food was incredible. They have a smaller menu but my guess would be that everything on it is amazing. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Chimichurri Lamb Lollipops and the Tour of India. Each show cased a large variety of flavors & the meats were cooked to perfection.

Food: Delicious. Menu changes about every seven weeks and is themed. Each item has an inspiration and a drink pairing. We tried the 10 Food Tastings and I was not dissatisfied with any item. Everything was delicious!
Service: great! Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. All staff were very good, and we were checked in on perfectly. Occasionally, the time between dishes coming out would be longer, but it was adequate!
Atmosphere: really fun! The restaurant is quieter in the early evening, but gets rather busy. Even with a lot of people, staff was accommodating and on top of everything.
Price: Hefty! You’re really paying for the experience! I would say this restaurant is a great place to celebrate an occasion or just fun if you’re hunting for a place to spend your money!

The side salad was good and very large.
The Bolognese was good but I don’t think the sauce was tomato based.
If it was I was not able to taste the tomatoes.
The service was spot on.
We waited and wanted for nothing.

Absolutely wonderful experience – the best I’ve had anywhere in the state. Visited Ambli two nights ago with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. Austin was our server and he was one of the most personable, respectful, and hardworking restaurant employees that I have ever met. We ordered the tasting menu, adding two lobster shooters and two chimichurri lamb chops. Everything we ate was beyond incredible and delicious. I highly recommend giving Ambli a visit.
