I came back a few weeks later to give Sproutz another try, this time with the Mediterranean Bowl. Unfortunately, it was the same issue — too much sauce again, and the falafel tasted old. The quinoa also had a strange flavor, not fresh at all. I really wanted to like it, but the quality just wasn’t there this time. Hopefully they can fix that, because the concept is great, but consistency matters.
The Seared Sesame Tuna Poke Bowl was very fresh, as always — vegetables, tuna, and overall quality were excellent. However, the tuna was a bit too heavily seasoned, and there was too much sauce for my taste. Also, the portion of brown rice was quite small. Still, everything tasted fresh, just a little over-seasoned.
We’ve enjoyed your food many times before, but today’s experience was disappointing. We placed order #83 ($55.90) and arrived 22 minutes later to pick it up. The clerk said there was no order under that number, even after I showed proof of payment. I asked him to check again, and after looking at his pad, he confirmed no order #83 existed and suggested I reorder and wait for a refund.
A few minutes later, another customer returned a wrong order — it turned out to be our order #83, which had been given out by mistake. The clerk tried to hand us the returned meal, which I declined, as the order had already left the store. He then agreed to remake it, and the total wait ended up being 44 minutes.
While I appreciate that the food was eventually remade, the handling of the situation showed poor communication and weak order control. I’m sharing this so management can retrain staff and review procedures, not to get anyone in trouble. If management would like the clerk’s name, I’m happy to provide it privately.
Definitely coming back—impossible to resist!
