The Pacific Grove Chinese Restaurant is a true hidden gem! We celebrated my sister’s 49th birthday here on a Saturday night, and we had an absolute blast. Not only is the Chinese food fantastic, but the drinks are also top-notch.
What really sets this place apart is the entertainment. The Karaoke from 8 PM to 11 PM on Saturdays is the perfect way to spend a fun evening. It created a lively and celebratory atmosphere for our group.

The food was good and the portions were generous, and the restaurant was nice and clean. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because at $3.75 for a soft drink, they should give at least 1 free refill. I understand not allowing someone to buy a soda and sit in the lounge drinking Pepsi all night long, but charging someone $3.75 for each soda they drink with their meal is silly. At least one free refill would make it a 5 star, it’s a nice restaurant with good food.

Best Chinese food / restaurant in the area. GREAT staff, just under staffed (like just about everywhere today). The few they have are as attentive as possible and friendly they just can not slow down enough! I will say the FOOD is worth the time, and the drinks are beyond my explanation. The regular, ok I will call him a “mixologist” is simply unbelievable. He has put together a list of amazing, and his own creations, of dink combinations you can not find anywhere else and are phenomenal! Prices are on par / average to all of the same type restaurants (both food and beverage). Complaints are minor. Most dishes do not come with any rice (small I know but most will expect this as I did) and they definitely need more help. Thats it. Highly Highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed.

Food was delicious and portions were large. We ordered a lot of sushi, so the longer wait was expected. Service was great too and the atmosphere was very lively, granted we did go on karaoke night.

Ordered $65 worth of take out. The app shows I ordered a pork loin mein. They gave me a beef lo mein!! Nobody likes that!!! It went to waste !

Me and my mother the mugfords used to come in there all the time we knew it as Royal dynasty we just like the atmosphere the people the food and me and my mother have been going to them for the longest time they have the greatest best delicious buffets and food I will always remember it as Royal dynasty.

Terrible dive bar. We went to sing karaoke and have a few drinks around 9pm on a Saturday night. We politely said to waitress we were only having drinks. Rude glum looking waitresses told us we couldn’t sing unless we spent $20 per person. So we left and went to a much classier establishment and had a great time singing and having a few drinks there.

I had a great experience! First of all, I havent been here since 2017 and i remember it being great and drinks being great! Came in today 09/09/2024 and workers were very friendly. Gentleman that greeted me at door was very kind and welcoming, Waitress was very kind and made sure i had everything i needed as well. Second Food was delicious, I ordered the Beef with broccoli combination plate and a couple mai tais. Food came out quick but oh i can tell you right now it was very fresh and i had to let it sit for a couple minutes before i could dig in! Flavor was all there, you could tell it was just freshly made and not sitting there all day. Third! THE MAI TAIIIIS! Just as good as i remember it!! Drink was worth every penny, strong drink without losing it’s flavor as a mai tai! I definitely will be coming back more often! Saturdays are a must because of karaoke night, place is usually packed but a very nice environment to be around. If i could give more than 5 stars i would!! — Ps. I posted pics but dont mind me food was so delicious i already had dug in!

This restaurant tries to charge the customers higher than what the price is on the menu and parrots a ton of excuses when confronted. There is a proper way to notify the customer of an adjusted price (at the beginning, not the end), and it is not to break the law.
