I ordered from Uber Eats and when I recieved the food- all 4 pizzas were ice cold and SOGGY. There was barely any cheese and what little cheese there was you could see the shreds as if it hadnt even been melted when the pizza was boxed. Pepperoni was sliced paper thin and you couldn’t even taste it under the mounds of plain, unseasoned, canned tomato sauce. I’m extremely disappointed as I usually love all of the Grotto locations but this was barely edible and absolutely disgusting! I won’t be going to the Edwardsville location anytime soon!!

If your from nepa everyone knows grotto. Not the best pizza i ever had but definitely a good pizza. Consistent food quality at all grottos you know what your getting. I would stop again for sure!

For whatever reason I usually become ill after eating any food from this establishment. Not only that the waitresses here are rude pushy condescending and disrespectful. You can’t even ask them a question without them talking down to you and making you feel guilty and stupid for asking them a question about the food on their menu. There’s plenty of other other restaurants that that have much better food choices and more respectful staff.

We used to go to Grotto for many years. All locations. Today we went for the first time since the pandemic. We were excited they now have sweet sauce pizza so we tried it. Well its the same old dried out lousy pizza. The sauce was OK but the problem is there wasn’t enough on it. As a matter of fact there wasn’t enough cheese on it either. The pizza was dry,the pizza was short of ingredients, the pizza was like cardboard. So after eating half of the pizza the waitress finally came back to the table to ask how everything was. We needed our drinks refilled so I took the opportunity to ask for more sauce for the dry pizza. She brings back a tiny cup of sauce. When we got the bill she charged a dollar for it. REALLY? You serve us dried out pizza which got harder after 5 minutes and then you charge extra? Needless to say we’re done with Grotto. There are many great pizza places in the area. They were one of few that were open on Monday so we tried it. No more.

Server Sharon was kind and friendly, chill atmosphere. $6.99 pizza deal is an absolute steal. Pizza was amazing as all grottos are. Gave the sweet sauce pizza a try and it was pretty good, would still recommend the OG sauce.

We order a Mild Buffalo cheese stake boli. Chicken is slimy, the color is damn near pink, and it taste sweet. They lost my business. Lesson learned. Should give 0 Stars.

Ordered pickup and waited at the counter for nearly ten minutes with workers walking by or sitting in the back just watching TV… no one else there but me and nobody even acknowledged me. Left without my food, but probably dodged a bullet judging from other reviews. I would avoid this joint at all costs.

First time visiting this establishment, and from the moment I was greeted, the service and food were amazing. The server greeted and sat us and was the most pleasant and inviting lady I have had to serve me in a while. The first view of the menu and i was taken aback by the fact that they served nachos made with chopped chicken. Well, being that I don’t eat red meat, I had to try them and was blown away at the portion size as well as the platter itself. Delicious and fairly priced, it doesn’t even begin to describe how much I enjoyed them. On to the entrée I decided to go for the fettuccine with alfredo and grilled chicken. So they make their own homemade alfredo sauce, almost unheard of in the commercial food industry these days. The meal was truly amazing, tasted fresh, and didn’t have that funky prepackaged after taste. Absolutely delightful. My wife had the ziti and red sauce with mushrooms, looked and tasted delicious she had no complaints. I tried it, and it was quite superb, not soggy or undercooked the right amount of bite and texture. After the meal was done, we received the bill and thought it would be higher than my hairline, it wasn’t. It was well below what a meal that delicious should have been. Fair price, good service a definite for those who want to enjoy a great meal and not feel the wallet get thinner just by looking at the menu. Will be coming back soon.
