This is one of Jacksonville’s hidden gems. The food is amazing! I recommend the lobster roll or the Haddock sandwich, blackened. The fried okra is not one to miss either. It has an amazing atmosphere as well as a wonderful view. The overall prices are good, but things like the lobster roll are a little pricey. The staff are friendly and attentive. They also offer a discount for activitie duty military as well as Veterans.

I highly recommend you give this place a visit!
The food is wonderful and very fresh! You can order a wide selection of seafood, cooked the way you like it. You order and pay when you walk in the restaurant. They give you a number and you go sit wherever you want. You can sit inside or outside, but obviously I recommend you sit outside.
The service was fast and friendly. They bring your order out to you, but you get your own drink refills and clean up your table when you leave.
The best part is that you are sitting right on the water with boats driving by and birds flying around.
The portions are good and you won’t walk away hungry!

Food was good and extremely fresh! Oysters were overstepped but after redone they were delicious. Grilled grouper was delicious. It was also a little overcooked which made a little dry. Blackened shrimp was great and conch fritters were as well.

This is place is simple, authentic, and as fresh as it gets.
Service is basic, order at counter and food is delivered promptly on paper lined aluminum trays.
There is outdoor seating on the pier to add to the authentic experience.
Great assortment of desserts too. However, the stars of the show are the variety of daily catches.
Had the peel and eat shrimp with blackened seasoning, shrimp nachos, rare tuna tacos, fried flounder strips, and chocolate cake. All were superb.

My husband had suggested we make the trek down to Safe Harbor to enjoy a meal and see what fresh seafood was available. We were taken care of quickly and our server apologized that they were out of their banana pudding. Our meals did not disappoint. We probably could have split one of the combo meals, but we both finished the shrimp and he finished his fish.

Fresh seafood. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. The compound better the chef has is top tier. I like the fact they offered samples of many of the items they sell. The line setup to purchase very organized. It allowed you personalized service with your salesman. They offer free ice to keep your seafood cold on Fresh on the ride home.I look forward to purchasing from them again!! We purchased snow crab legs, oysters, compound butter, & crocker.

Shrimp(local mayport) delicious. Crinkle fries undercooked and unseasoned. Did not receive dessert with order. Situation was immediately remedied. Slaw not good at all. Just expected more from the sides since the shrimp plate was higher than average. Better getting shrimp only. $40 for platter, beer and dessert . Wait staff kept screaming at other diners to stop feeding the gulls which was annoying. Beautiful views

If you want the real, deal freshest shrimp possible – this is the place. Sit outside, watch the boats that probably brought in what you’re eating. Nothing fancy, simple & delicious. Take the ferry if you are on Amelia Island.
