Cash only and worth it! I enjoy focusing on the food when I am out to eat and it was not overwhelming being at King’s Place. It was a beautifully cozy atmosphere. When it comes to the food, I was very impressed. The portion size was a surprise, you don’t see such hardy meals like King’s Place offered. I went with the Rueben and my Mr chose the Steak and Cheese Mac n’ Cheese. Got to try the Mac before he top it off with Sriracha, which I love that they offered. The flavor for the Mac was full and made me wishing I had ordered it too. However, my Reuben was a served with homemade chips and man was it a loaded sandwich. My mouth is watering writing about it. We plan to return for breakfast. Thank you for opening this restaurant in Smithfield. We love you and will be returning often.

This place blew me away! Such a sweet family operated restaurant. I ordered the Reuben and a hot chocolate on a grey chilly day. The portions were generous, the quality of the sandwich was excellent (pretty much the best Reuben you could get anywhere) and the family was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend going if you’re in the area or looking for an excuse for a beautiful drive!!

This is 100% pure America! Our breakfast omelets were loaded with fresh wholesome vegetables, quality meats, and real cheese. I am not a health nut, but I don’t remember the last time I dined out and had food this good.
Kathy, the owner is a proud American with an eye watering back story. She serves locals and the occasional drive-bys who are lucky enough to find this out of way example of why Maine is special.

Yes Yes Yes. This place is great. The Reuben is one of my go-to choices at a new restaurant and Kings is the best I’ve ever tried. Yep – that good. The Shepherd’s Pie was excellent and the baked french fries with bacon was a nice off-menu surprise.

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with generous portions. Our omelets were cooked to perfection and served with great tasting homefries. The sour dough toast was buttery and just enough crunch. Kathy the owner, cook and friendly waitress made our visit memorable. Prices couldn’t have been more reasonable either. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

This place was just an accidental find. The service was amazing, the wife running the place had a fun and happy attitude. The food was even more incredible, the size portions and taste. Also the homemade chips are a must have!! I think we all went home with leftovers! Would definitely recommend and go back!

Have eaten here several times. Have had items from the menu and also the specials. The Reuben sandwich has the absolute best corned beef I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the shepherds pie. Enough for two meals. The lasagna was well worth the trip. I just can’t say enough about the quality of the food. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Very clean. Highly recommended

Kings Place…. from in the kitchen to being a customer at the table has always been a pleasure for me. The restaurant is family oriented and filled with love! Now the food…. start your morning with a ginormous mouth watering pancake, and don’t forget the homemade corn beef hash! The fact everything is made home made makes everything better! The bakery case…well that’s a sugar fix for sure! The staff are always friendly and make for a positive atmosphere. I love King’s Place and everything they offer!
