It’s a nice place with an upscale vibe. We had a large group for a birthday party. The pros were that I ordered the chicken strips and they were a 10/10. Delish. Unfortunately, there are cons. Service was very sluggish and so was the kitchen. I know we had a large group, but it wasn’t busy in there. Some people in the group did not like their food. One person ordered the cheese fondue and sent it back because the cheese was gross. They only allowed us four checks, so we had to have one person pay for multiples and do Venmo which was a hassle. They also added an 18% service charge to the bill but didn’t disclose it. The waitress came and told us after. We had to collect our own checks and bring them to the person to run because they were taking so long. Personally, I wouldn’t go back.

If you were looking for a fun cocktail, an excellent martini or old-fashioned with a light appetizer this is your place. The area is absolutely beautiful and the Omni is nice. But the place was horribly understaffed. We sat at the couch area with little expectations and went to the bar for our drinks. Ordered some food and it was very hard getting even napkins or plates, dirty dishes, just sat there. For the price you pay ($15 a drink , $20 for wings) you need to have more staff on a Sunday game day .

I was very impressed by the staff, food, and beer selection. The inside is large with lots of seating areas and is tastefully decorated. The outside balcony is expansive with lots of seating and tv’s. My only gripe is you can’t see the field well enough from the balcony to watch any football action. It is too far and blocked by some trees.

We had a really great time at this restaurant. We were meeting before going to the ice maze. We tried to get reservations at the restaurant downstairs but were unable to We took our chances upstairs. A large table became available and we shared it with another family. We got drinks that were well prepared and rhe fondue, giant pretzel, sliders, and the charcuterie board. We also got the apple cake for dessert. The fondue was a lot of fun and the pretzel truly was huge. Service was attentive and the location proved great for the ice maze.

Wonderful breakfast spot tucked on the 2nd level of the hotel! Lean but solid menu choices to feed all breakfast appetites. Definitely going again when staying here.

We decided to stay in the twin cities for spring break this year and do a fun ‘staycation’ at the omni. We ate at ember and ice – there were 8 of us, 4 kids and 4 adults. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. The bartender was super friendly and fun. We had a variety of dishes – salmon, beet salad, chicken tenders, burger. Everything was delicious. We ordered room service from the restaurant for dessert and the dessert was amazing. The fireplace, viking decor ( think Norwegian, cozy, game of thronesish) and cozy vibe was perfect. Loved it all and will be back!

The Omni Hotel is a lovely hotel. We ate at Ember and Ice for dinner which was fairly decent. I personally enjoyed the Skol Nachos. The next morning we had breakfast. The breakfast was underwhelming and food quality did not meet the price point. It was convenient to go there but I would not choose them for breakfast next time. Beyond the food, the servers were great and atmosphere is relaxing and nice.
