me and my family have been coming here for quite a while probably about 3 years. Before it was okay, food is great it does the job and the service was good, it used to be a young lady she was kind. but now it’s been this insanely rude, disrespectful and outrageously bad costumer serviced man. we’ve never had any issues or problems here, i did recently find a hair in my pho but didn’t comment on it since it was the first time it’d occurred and thought it might’ve been mine (it wasn’t). but today that i went to dine with my family the man once again was and even more, rude. when he would come to our table he looked and was upset, didn’t speak to us once even when we said thank you. he would roll his eyes and be annoyed when we would ask for something. also would like to mention it was custom for them to serve water but he totally didn’t give us water ON PURPOSE because soon after we arrived so did 2 other customers and he gladly served them water. he ignored us when we asked him for extras and charged us for them which they never did before. he was overall extremely rude to us and we felt as though he had some prejudice against us. We will NEVER be coming here again and i don’t recommend it to anyone. Also the tables are never properly cleaned and are super sticky all the time

I enjoyed my lunch. The customer service was great! The atmosphere was cozy and clean. The spring rolls were yummy. The Pho was good, I prefer chunks of chicken. This chicken was shaved, like lunch meat. I would have loved to try the boba tea but they were out of boba.

Authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced.
I really think this place is underrated and I don’t understand why. The food is very authentic with all the traditional Vietnamese flavour you expect from a family operated establishment.
The grilled pork is juicy and flavourful, the Banh Mi’ has a crunchy outside and a fluffy inside with all the great taste you expect from a quality sammy.
I ordered the grilled chicken rice dish and loved every bite. The grilled pork spring roll was super fresh and is honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Give this place a try when you’re in the area, focus on the food and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how good it is.
Note: the bad reviews are from people who consistently bash and trash on Yelp. The best reviews are coming from Yelpers with Vietnamese last names. Who do you trust more when reading a review on Vietnamese food, Karen Smith or Tram Nguyen?

The worse part about this place is the guy that doesn’t care, he is rude & must hate his job he wouldn’t even hand me my food when I went to pick it up he told me “get your food” and just pointed I then asked for a little extra chili and he told me no I already charged you. On top of that the soup was Luke warm and absolutely no flavor my jalapeños were dried out and seemed to be from yesterday.
Overall you can tell they just don’t care they know they are in a busy location and will still make money doing the bare minimum. If your there look around it’s wiped down but not clean they just don’t care at least be nice to people, I would have given 2 stars if they were nice

In the area, wanted pho for lunch, thought we’d give House of Pho a try. I’d give it three stars, nothing exceptional although the oxtail was definitely tender and separated nicely from the bone, the soup was average. Ordered the Grilled Pork Bun with fried egg roll, but because they were out of fried egg rolls, they added more pork to the Bun. Nice gesture, however overpowering.
Service was okay. Did notice person waiting for takeout waited a long time.

I love the pho here. It has been consistently good for many years. Very good flavor. Also a very healthy serving in the large bowl that I order. I will continue to come back when I happened to be driving through. I’m sure you will be happy with this restaurant if you choose to come here. Happy dinning.

Walked into the restaurant and was immediately met with a very poor attitude from the gentleman working there. We simply let him know we weren’t ready yet, and his response was unprofessional and rude. Because of the bad service, we decided to leave. Would not recommend this place if you’re looking for good customer service.

This was our first visit here, but we will not return. It was the first time for us to meet the parents of our daughter’s fiance. We chose this location because it was convenient between everyone’s homes and it was large enough for all seven of us and our toddler granddaughter to have ample seating.
His parents ordered two kinds of Pho, and they were both watery and bland tasting.
My wife ordered the Phad Thai and it was a goopy blob of sugary noodles. She could only eat about one third of it, leaving the rest on the plate. (The first time in 35 years of marriage I have seen her not get a take-home box.) Definitely not worth $14!
I had pork teriyaki, which is hard to ruin. It was so-so.
Our daughter had a sandwich which she ate all of and her fiance had a “crunchy noodle” which he said was “okay” but he left part of it on his plate as well.
They brought the items yo our table one by one with the Phad Thai first and the crunchy noodle dish about eight minutes later. By then, the Phad Thai had cooled considerably. It was a good management of the preparation process.

The food and beverages are over priced. I ordered what I usually order at a Vietnamese restaurant and that is vermicelli noodle with egg roll. It’s usually $13-$15 at most places but here it’s $18.
This is a lot considering you only get 3 or 4 egg rolls and the majority of the dish are sliced lettuce, julienne carrots, bean sprouts, and vermicelli noodles.
The soda alone is $3.50, to give you an idea of their “inflation”. Everything else is marked up accordingly. The fresh spring roll is usually $2.50 each but here it’s $4 each.
We ended up paying $49 for two meals and a Thai iced tea. My Thai iced tea was $8. The other dish that was ordered was curry chicken at $18.
I was an out of town guest and wouldn’t expect Covington prices to be so high for a run of the mill Vietnamese restaurant.
This restaurant, in my opinion, should focus on keeping prices affordable and attracting more repeat customers than gouging the ones who do go and will never see them again.
