I love flavor… flavor and freshness is what I received together with amazing service and hospitality, would definitely come again This was the beginning of my birthday morning at 1am. My husband got the Double Bacon Decker with sweet potato fries and I got the Papas Penne but swapped for fettuccine pasta (this is a yummy option with the tomatoes, spinach, and fresh mozzarella…the sauce is on the light buttery side vs a heavier creamy milky sauce like Alfredo sauce)

The food is delicious and artistically presented (my dish came with a real orchid). Oddly enough, the menus are displayed on tablets distributed to each table, yet orders still go through the Englishly challenged waitstaff instead of customers placing orders via the tablets. The bathroom is clean, and there are vending games like the Claw. Paved parking and high-chairs available. Gratuity (“service fee”) at 18% is also added automatically, which stiffs the waitstaff for untaxed tips in cash.

Yesterday my husband went to Grandpas diner to get some quick drinks, a strawberry lemonade, and a Lime Jarritos, and it unfortunately was an excruciatingly painful experience.
We’ve been here multiple times since it’s opening, replacing, Jk’s Texas Hot Wiener’s. The customer service, atmosphere and food were nothing close to astounding, but our most recent visit had taken our experience at Grandpas diner to fairly below par. An absolutely terrible experience. As soon as my husband walked in to let the 2 woman on shift working the floor know he wanted to buy drinks, they expressed a nasty attitude of frustration in response. Asking what drinks we wanted was met with wave of annoyance. They get the drinks and when it’s time to pay, and my husband pulls out cash, she SNICKERS in response. No shame, no honor. Now both my husband and I have been attending this establishment since they’ve opened and let me tell you the ONLY thing they got going for them is that they’re open 24 hours. Mc Donald’s gives better customer service. What people right in their mind would ever willingly want to pay an establishment that treats you such a way? Churros is the best thing on the menu.

I’m a regular for the past 3 years. I’ve enjoyed every moment. The food is exceptional, the price is fair, and I always have Brittany as my waitress. She is amazing. The atmosphere is comfortable and feels like home away from home. The #1 best restaurant/diner I’ve ever experienced. I’d give a lot more than 5 stars.

A gem of a place found by an accident had a car broken down, and i have to wait for the mechanic shops to open. I used door dash to deliver some food, and everything was great and very reasonably price, so after a week I am going to New York, and decided to have breakfast here again, what a pleasant experience, at 3:00 in the morning cashier/hostess/ waitress was smiling and ready to serve, place is extremely clean, and organized, and food is again great and fresh. Highly recommended if you are in the area, they are open 24 hours.

This was our first time coming to Grandpa’s Diner! We loved it. Our waitress was so nice! I LOVED the chicken and waffle. Was so happy they had grits as well. I absolutely LOVED the early 2000s music. Can’t wait to go back.
