It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this is the best Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh! The food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. The chips are amazing, so warm and crunchy; they’re homemade on site. You can’t stop at just one basket! Their salsa is tasty with just the right amount of heat to keep your mouth tingling while crunching the chips. We had the tacos de asada, deluxe burrito, and the chicken and cheese enchiladas combo. The food was dang good. We come here fairly often every other month or so, and we’ve never had a bad meal. The service is attentive, polite, and helpful. The decor and furnishings are a bit run down and dated, but this place is the real deal with the food. The only other places where I’ve had Mexican food like this is in California, Texas, and Mexico. Definitely make the stop here if you want an awesome Mexican meal.

I have a soft spot for family restaurants, and Bethel Park has been in dire need of a solid Mexican food joint for a long time. Look no further than here, let me tell you. The people I’ve seen working here have slightly changed over the years, and some of the food may occasionally come off as less impressive than previous visits, but the staff here are always quick, polite, and hard working, especially when it comes to preparing their Burrito Durango.

This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered here and each time the food was just not good. This final time our order was wrong after being read back to us, and I was not given beans, lettuce, guacamole or the sour cream that was supposed to come with it. And then the establishment argued with me instead of just offering to give me what I paid for.

I typically only go for lunch – this place is super cheap, incredibly fast, clean and damn delicious. I do not recommend the Steak and Shrimp dinner.

We have been getting take out once a week through the past few months of the pandemic. The food is always delicious. The staff is friendly. It is a great value. We typically get two meals out of the dinners. We can’t say enough good tgings about them!

Great little place for Mexican food; prices and portions are good. The parking lot is real easy to miss as it’s basically in an intersection. Also, the owner has been the only one working tables every time I visit, so service is a little slow. If you’re in a big hurry, maybe go elsewhere. Otherwise, it’s great.
