What a joy it is to stumble upon unexpectedly heartwarming and delightful spots like Interurban Coffeehouse, the Mequon Public Market area.
The space is clean, spacious, and inviting—cozy in just the right way. The coffee is excellent, and I especially appreciate that it’s served in proper ceramic cups if —a small detail that speaks volumes about their attention to the customer experience.
And then there’s the service: warm, natural, and genuine. The young woman behind the counter was not only kind and attentive but brought a certain charm and authenticity that made the whole visit feel even more special.
I highly recommend stopping by at least once—you might just find yourself adding it to your own list of hidden delights.

Kind, patient, informative staff who believe in their work! The two younger gals working today around 12:15 are truly the best! The food itself is gorgeous with gut healthy ingredients and impecable taste!

Best coffee shop in ozaukee!! The food is amazing! The pastries are of such good quality they are the closest I can compare to the french bakeries in Toronto! The new menu items like the lunch sandwiches have such a great flavor profile and unique choices! If you want something original, and special you’ll find it here. The service is friendly, and efficient, the baristas are helpful with questions about the menu. Seasonal drinks have been amazing and coffee flights are so fun to share with friends! Knowing the drink flavor syrups are made in-house is such a plus! Not to mention the atmosphere/ seating area is modern and perfectly spacious!

Great atmosphere and service. The coffee and drinks are great. The heated up food doesn’t
fit here. I can tell my breakfast sandwich was microwaved, because the cheese and crescent was hard on the edges.

I tried a cherry Danish and a loaf of their light sourdough – both were lovely. Lots of seating and a bright, pleasant atmosphere. They serve Stone Creek coffee, which would not be my first choice (I’m Colectivo or Anodyne), but full coffee bar, Rishi teas, and a couple fresh juice offerings, as well. All of their bakery looks amazing.

Came here on a lazy, rainy Thursday afternoon. Although the place was quiet, the customer service was outstanding. The food was great.
I had a lovely chai latte with oat milk. It was perfect! Not pictured here, is the spinach and feta croissant that I chowed down faster than I could take a photo!

They have an amazing selection of fresh breads, and they’ll even slice it for you right on the spot. The jalapeño cheddar bread is a must-try—absolutely the best! Be sure to grab a Chocolate Cherry Latte too; it’s delicious whether you have it hot or iced. The atmosphere is super relaxed, making it the perfect spot to get some work done or just unwind.

Stopped in for the first time and we both loved our coffees/blueberry cream cheese danish! Plenty of space inside. Will definitely be coming back!

Interurban Coffee has become my go-to near home. My favorite is a coconut iced latte, but the seasonal drink choices are irresistible (dark chocolate iced latte with cherry = chocolate-covered cherry in a cup). The Game Day dessert bars have everything a sweet tooth craves. The baristas are very helpful in deciding what to order. The lunch sandwiches are another highlight. I always look forward to a visit and catching up with Odessa and Marjorie. Give me time, I’ll learn everyone’s name .
