First time back to Base Camp in over 8 years. The updated place has a cleaner feel to it. The food here has been great so far cant wait to come back and try a burger. The Mt. ST. Helen’s pizza is pretty yummy! The environment is pretty welcoming and friendly so solo or a group come have a seat here. Not to mention you can ski or snowboard just outside here! Live music was playing when walking in. That was a nice surprise! The staff is great!
One downfall was I played music on TouchTunes during the game and they skipped me. All they need to do is turn the system off during games instead of letting customers lose their money.

We stopped in for the first time to see the band. It was packed and vibe was happy and fun. We were lucky enough to grab 2 seats at the bar. The service at the bar was amazing, special shout out to Brian who was extra speedy, kind and always had a smile. The bar is round and there were 3 bartenders who continually circled around, worked as a team and left nobody thirsty, ever. Very impressive. We ate and the food was great. We will be back.

Five stars! Basecamp is easily one of the best spots in town. The food is consistently great, but the service is what truly sets them apart. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and attentive—you’re never left waiting for a refill.
Basecamp has definitely leveled up lately. Managers Sheri and Eric, along with Phil and Bobby at Afterlife Productions, are really doing their thing. Every event they’ve put on has been sold out and an absolute blast. Highly recommend!

Great bar they have a lot of events to get the community and outside suburbs together. Super chill people and good food. Only complaint if you’re too good and beer pong then the host will make fun of your mustache to sell his bbq sauce lmao.

I’ve been to Basecamp a number of times over the years since it’s been the Lodge. In years past, it hasn’t been the same. Kind of dead to be honest. But recently it has changed quite a bit. I understand there is new management. They have awesome live acts, events, and drinks. Their tap list has improved immensely. Prices have dropped. The vibe in the place is much better. I just watched the Bears whoop the Packers there this last weekend. The place was PACKED and atmosphere was electric! Such a good time! Well done on the changes, Base Camp

Always a great time whenever I stop into the Camp. A lot of great memories here!! Love hanging out with the boys, catching a game here or one of the awesome live shows they usually have. Legit a great time and they have a great entertainment team running things.(shout out Afterlife) Feels like the good old days!

January 2nd my wife and I were the most impressed we have been with an establishment in a long time. The day started with “Grace” who was at the ticket window at Four Lakes Alpine Sports (which I’m mentioning because we never would have experienced Base Camp Pub if it weren’t for Four Lakes). She was friendly from start to end. She was faced with everything possible besides power going out. She was asked questions she couldn’t answer, her computer froze and the printer crapped out, payment systems getting tangled with other terminals etc. She was super integral the entire time. She had no problem saying she didn’t have all the answers, instead of trying to create a made up answer which would create problems in the end. She kept a smile on her face kept us engaged in conversation and not once gave the impression she was annoyed or aggravated. I’ve been in customer service all my life and her performance was worthy of an applause. I was so impressed with how attentive she was that I upgraded to a season pass due to her service, which was also a new experience for her. After that my wife and I went to the bar where Maggie put on a show of how to be happy, friendly, patient with children and cover the entire dining space, alone I might add and not miss a beat. Having been in the restaurant industry (waiting, training/opening new locations and managing) for 6 years I was very impressed. Not only did she cover the whole room but she was able to engage in conversation with each table. She never once said no to any request had there were a lot of them. Nothing seemed to be a problem and she was genuinely happy to help people which is very rare in people facing fields. It didn’t feel like she was doing her job, it felt like she was enjoying herself. We liked her service so much we came back after snowboarding for a few hours to eat and get some drinks after we canceled our dinner reservations downtown Chicago due to such amazing service. The managers were also awesome from the ticket area and the bar.
I apologize for the length of this message but my wife and I felt you all needed to hear about the ALLSTAR staff we encountered that day. We genuinely felt like Four Lakes appreciated our patronage and not just said but showed you wanted us to come and visit again. And we definitely will be back. I gotta get my moneys worth from this season pass I purchased. Thank you for being awesome you two and showing customer service is not dead.

Been seeing shows here for decades, and have always felt comfortable and safe, everyone is friendly. Kitchen is fast even when it feels busy, bar is efficient. Love the partnership between Afterlife and Basecamp, shows have been really great bands and performances!
