Had the Zombie, which was very pineapple juice heavy. Cool decor inside, but very bright. Closer to an island cafe than a tiki bar.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The spicy spam rice bites were delicious. It came with 4 pieces, and was a good appetizer to share between two people. The loco moco with beef was good. My wife enjoyed the Ube chicken and waffles. The chicken was really tender. Portion sizes are pretty big and I left full.

Looks like a great bar for drinks, but the food was just okay. We came for brunch and ordered the sisig silog and musubi. It took 25-30 minutes for the food to arrive due to a large party and it was quite busy. The skillet I ordered wasn’t hot and I was able to easily hold it so a bit disappointing there. We’ll give it another try for the drinks next time.

We have been visiting this place for 3 years, this place is our must to if we are near by, from food that is delicious and always have something that goes with your mod, to the variety of good looking and amazing cocktails, we have enjoyed everything, don’t forget the desserts.
Since Derek-The Magician to now Lina-The Explorer the bartenders always bring their own personality and a way to enjoy the place, now that we have tried all the cocktails for the 3rd time (first time official with the cocktails passport), for sure our favorite place for cocktails.

Kalua pork with fettucine alfredo is tasty! At $18, they give you a generous portion too. Coco banana drink was good, too. Actual banana fruit on the top of the drink too

Had a fantastic experience at Hula Hoops. It was our first time visiting as a family, and everything — from the food to the ambiance — exceeded expectations.

The food was absolutely delicious across the board. My dad loved the poke bowl, my mom enjoyed a flavorful ahi tuna dish, my brother had the longanisa and spam musubi (a fun twist on comfort food), and I had something like mochiko fried chicken loco moco — super satisfying. Portion sizes were generous, we all left full, and the presentation was spot on. The menu had a wide variety of creative, Hawaiian and Filipino-inspired dishes that we’re excited to try next time.

The feel was very good too — casual, lively, and family-friendly, but also cozy and welcoming enough that it’d be a great date spot too. We especially loved the island-themed décor and tropical music, which added to the relaxed ambiance.

The service was top-notch. The staff was kind, attentive, and even offered to take our family photo when they saw us snapping pictures — very thoughtful touch. They checked in on us without being pushy, which made the experience feel warm and genuine. (Some also speak Tagalog! Parents loved it.)

Prices were what you’d expect for the high quality of food and service, and the brunch offerings extended past noon, which was a nice addition. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and although parking in the area can be a bit tricky (it’s just a busy spot), it was worth it.

Highly recommend for family gatherings, casual hangouts, or even a relaxed date night. We definitely hope to come back — five stars all around. Maraming salamat po!

It was our first visit to Hula Hoops today and it was awesome! Cheryl was our server and she was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome. We’ve been wanting to visit Hula Hoops for quite some time but the lines were always long. Rightfully so because the food, ambiance and service is excellent. Eating at Hula Hoops is like being transported to Hawaii minus the five hour flight. We will definitely be coming back again.

Good food options – Filipino and Hawaiian style. Reasonable amount of options for someone who does not eat beef/pork and also has a nut allergy. You can order via QR code or with the waiters. Would recommend getting reservations since the wait can be long.

Didn’t expect much from this “Tiki bar”, but I think my expectations were misaligned. Come here for the food and cocktails. Doesn’t have the true authentic tiki bar vibe, but close. They have all the ingredients- fish floats, tapa cloth lamps, fish trap, bamboo, wall coverings. Food and Buzz Tai were excellent and service was great.

Everything was really tasty! The mochiko chicken was so moist and crispy. The pancakes really tasted like ube. The place is small so reservations are recommended. They have a lot of rules posted but they are mostly common sense, like don’t vandalize the bathroom and if new customers are waiting then dining time is 90 minutes.
