We’ve enjoyed this place over the years for its seeming attention to detail and food quality, but we will not be returning anytime soon, if ever.
We ordered carry out and the main part of my meal was a simple Philadelphia roll. I went to eat the roll and had already eaten two pieces before realizing there was a large strip of aluminum foil running through most of the roll.
I have ulcerative colitis and something like pieces of aluminum foil can cause serious issues. I called the restaurant and they kept putting me on hold, but I could hear them talking about it in the background deciding what to do.
When the manager got on he acted “oh this happens all the time so it’s not a big deal”, and said they’d just credit me for the roll and that was that. The way he spoke to me was as if *I* was the issue because I was reporting it.
I wasn’t asking for a free meal, but for him to act that way then brush it off without even pretending to sound like he cared told me all I need to know about this restaurant going forward.
Accidents happen, but he didn’t even act like it mattered, I don’t even think he apologized at all and he clearly couldn’t care less.
I’m extremely disappointed in how they handled this.

I will say coming back from visiting Japan last year and having Yellowtail Sushi Bar was uplifting. I felt the quality of the fish was as good as I had it when I was in Japan. Really brought back good memories for me! The chefs platter was worth every penny! The service was great! I have to say the ambiance was good. I did think it was a little too dark at the front of the building. Overall I will recommend YSB&AK is worth every bite!

Fantastic and delicious sushi! They have a large menu with all the usual options plus even more. We started with the miso soup which was delicious, and then split the spicy scallop roll and the yellowtail shoga roll. Both were delicious and I would recommend. Service was quick and attentive but not rushed. The prices here are very fair and good for the neighborhood.

The food is so good!!! Expensive but one roll is easily filling. So many rolls to choose from!
Tables are too close together in the only bad thing. I like to DoorDash this place to get the quality food and feel more at ease. The Tuna tartare is so good and the amount of tuna you get is fire.
Will take my parents here when they visit and i know they will be as impressed

Hands down my favorite sushi spot around! Everything we ordered was beautifully plated. The salmon flight is my favorite plate. Every bite is an explosion of flavor! But the reality is, I can say that about everything we ordered. Not to mention how attentive the staff is. Highly recommend for sure!

Its byob which is great and the sushi is really good. One important thing though is that its very dim lighting with loud house music. so i wont recommend for certain things but cute for a fun girls night.

This place’s sushi is delicious. Their rolls and poke bowls are supper yummy. Their fish is fresh. I often see lines at their restaurant but they able to maintain safety measures. I took away one star because their to go orders may take awhile. I have ordered through grub hub multiple times. My order will say it’s ready for pick up but it’s not at the restaurant.

Really good sushi. Started with a crispy tuna roll & chicken karage then got the warm roll a scallop on top and the sashimi salmon flight & the white fish salmon flight. Service and server were great.

First time at Yellowtail and I had quite a mixed experience. The food itself was very good and the fish was incredibly fresh, although I was hoping that the portions of the rolls especially for the price were a little larger. As a sushi place, I could definitely see myself coming back as I felt like they had a great menu!
However, I came with a group of 6, and it took a long time to get our order in. After we ordered, it took 50 minutes for the first plate of food to hit our table and around 60 minutes before all our food was here. The food took so long that some of us ended up walking over to a nearby taco place to get a quick bite. I might put it down to the fact that they were busier than usual but I’ve also never waited so long for food in my life.
I’ll definitely be giving it another try maybe at a less busy time!

The asian lady that works there is ignorant and rude. She doesn’t know what hospitality means or service with a genuine wholesome smile.
All she wants is money!
She asked me if I have a physical credit card when I already explained to her that I’d like to order two separate orders and pay for them separately with tap and pay.
She gave me the runaround first and acted as if I was doing something wrong, but I was purchasing for corporate reasons that monitor restaurant’s.
It was my second time there attempting to purchase for corporate reasons and she was ignorant and not at all helpful.
She’s very dismissive.
The ambiance is uncomfortable.
The food is overpriced.
