I honestly didn’t expect to find such a high quality sushi restaurant in Newmarket. I visited based on a friend’s recommendation and although the seating is limited. The atmosphere was very clean and cozy. The open concept kitchen made it clear that they are confident in both their skills and cleanliness.
The crab salad was well balanced and not overpowering. The sauce underneath the salad complemented it perfectly making it a great starter.
We ordered a party platter. It was a bit disappointing that miso soup wasn’t included, but honestly the quality of the sushi, sashimi, and maki was so outstanding that it didn’t even matter.
The sashimi slices were thick, the rice portion in the sushi was perfectly balanced and we were really able to experience the true quality and freshness of the fish.
We also ordered a refresher for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place!

The owner Lee is awesome! Super friendly and professional. His staff is super friendly and welcoming. Food is top notch here in Newmarket. It’s like fine dining without having to travel far for good sushi . New menu is good and the new drinks are delish ! Def give this place a try if you haven’t yet. A gem here , you can’t go wrong ! We’ll be back soon 🙂

I absolutely loved Kozy Sushi! Their sushi is super fresh and delicious, and the quality is honestly impressive. They mostly do take-out, but they also have a cozy, clean, and warm little seating area that feels really welcoming.
The server was a very sweet and beautiful lady who guided us through the menu with so much patience. The customer service in general was amazing, everyone was so friendly, even at night!

Ordered takeout at least 3 times and the sushi is always quality, fresh, presented nicely and delicious. The popular tray is the bomb – great deal & variety. The apps we’ve tried also hit the spot (spicy miso soup!)
The owner(?) and chefs kindly greet you even when just picking up an order. Even included a bonus appy on the house !!!
I’ve never been a big wasabi fan but somehow theirs is better than any others I’ve tried—much more palatable and actually adds a nice kick without taking over.
Looks very nice inside despite the unassuming location. Haven’t dined in but I hope to soon! Love u Kozy sushi

Everything was awesome! The quality of the food was excellent, and the flavors were wonderful. We had Gyoza as an appetizer, which was very tasty. For the main course, we ordered the Salmon Meets Garlic Roll and Combo Lunch 2, both were delicious. The staff were very polite and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

Came in originally for sushi, but then I saw a man beside me trying the salmon teriyaki and I knew I had to try it! I was not dissapointed. Generous portions, the salmon was moist, and the teriyaki was not too salty. Rice was perfectly fluffy. The atmosphere is very Kozy as well.

Kozy sushi is a little hole in the wall restaurant. From the outside it looks suspicious but it’s really nice inside.
Quality and price was great, totally recommend. The lunch combos are the perfect amount. One thing I appreciated was the size of sushi wasn’t too big. Perfect 1 bites.
Miso was a little salty for my taste, but overall great quality, portion, and price.
The gyoza was very tasty too.

Our favorite sushi place….the avocado sushi pizza HAS to be tried. All the rolls are excellent but we usually get the Donburri bowl with various excellent sashimi & rice. Excellent quality and a good price. Highly recommended!
