Peace Love and Chocolate is such a special place to me. I went on my first date with my current girlfriend here and it was so sweet. Now I always try to get her some chocolates every time I need to get her a present and it’s always so good and nostalgic. I’m happy they have vegan flavors here since I went vegan recently and I’m happy I can still enjoy coming here. Overall, they have the best cake and so many interesting and beautiful chocolates to choose from. The decor is adorable and it’s not too busy if you want to hang out here and enjoy your time. This is one of my favorite places in Boulder and it carries so many memories for me.

This is a great place in downtown Boulder! I have had their delicious chocolate cakes, tiramisu and truffles and everything is great! We had a really fun event here and they put out all kinds of different flavored chocolates, including hot pepper chocolate that made my tongue burn. For those of you who like the heat, you’ll love it. They also put out basil and cherry chocolates that were flavorful and delightful, as the basil tasted just like eating fresh basil, and the cherry as well, fresh cherry.
They took us on a tour in the back where they make the chocolates.
It’s a very intimate, colorful and unique setting that feels good to spend time in.

Good selection of unique truffles. I bought the strawberry balsamic chocolate and it was good, though I couldn’t taste much strawberry flavor (heavier flavor profile towards dark chocolate and balsamic). Staff did not seem very friendly or helpful, but we got what we ordered just fine.

All the desserts and chocolate truffles looked great. We tried Tiramisu, which was amazing, and Pistachio Eclair, which didn’t really excite me, even though I love pistachio desserts. The atmosphere of the store was nice, and the service was very pleasant. The prices are higher, but that probably won’t surprise you in downtown Boulder. Yeah, try it!

We visited Piece Love and Chocolate as the crown jewel of a curated food tour of Boulder. A fitting end to a wonderfully day in Boulder. The staff were attentive and the variety was very good. We ended up buying a package of fresh made vanilla marshmallows and a box of 12 truffles. Each of truffles were uniquely wonderful and the flavors were as advertised. My 2 favorites (a tough choice) were the Key Lime and the Hazelnut. The Key Lime was generously flavorful but not overwhelming. I could taste the chocolate under the lime.

This was a sweet-treat of a shop, they are serious about their chocolates and their craft is splayed all over the walls, graphics, massive faux cacao trees, fruits and leaves spanning the roof of the building. They are technicians and artisans, and you surely can taste it. This is an experience, go there for the chocolate but take in the atmosphere and peer into cook room and watch them at work. Enough of that…I grabbed the American style hot chocolate with almond milk and my wife gathered an assortment of the numerous chocolates, to many unique names and flavors to recall. Listen they are good at chocolate and you will love their cocoa!!!

I can’t recommend this chocolatier highly enough! I called with a last-minute request for over 400 truffles to hand out at a conference, and Lola was absolutely fantastic to work with. The communication was seamless, the turnaround time was incredible, and the willingness to go above and beyond was out of this world.
The chocolates were a huge hit with everyone: beautifully made, delicious, and exactly what we needed to make an impression. I coordinated everything remotely, and from placing the order to delivering the treats into attendees’ hands, it was a smooth, stress-free, and successful experience.
Thank you, thank you! We will absolutely be back when we’re in Boulder again (and will plan ahead this time)!

Absolutely beautiful selection of patisserie and cakes. Quaint shop at the end of pearl, perfect stop on the way to or from the walnut parking garage. Super friendly staff that will talk baking all day if you want. I got the salted caramel chocolate cake, salted brownie, and the passion fruit bomb. The cake was perfectly layered, and I would have a pot of that caramel mousse. The brownie was fudge and rich but not so much so that you can eat one by yourself. The finally was the bomb. Tart like the fruit and so gorgeous it was sad to break it.
