I went to eat all you can eat crab legs. This is not all you can eat. It was horrible I ask the owner were the crab legs were. After 45 mins of no crab legs. She went in the back grabbed a smallest pan she can find. Mind you 4 people in line for crab legs. And said that’s not enough for you????? Really no it’s not it’s all you can eat lady!!! I will not be back.

I love crab rangoon! This restaurant has the absolute best crab rangoon! Instead of the rappers being folded in half like triangles they’re actually folded in quarters similar to a coin purse. This allows the rapper to hold much more filling! I have tried many other Chinese restaurants crab rangoon and nothing compares to Chong Garden! There is actually a Chinese restaurant a mile from my house and I will drive the 6 miles to Chong Garden to get their crab rangoon instead! Just once make the trip there and you will forever go back there for your crab rangoon I promise!

Got $50 worth of takeout. General Tsos chicken is cold, chewy, doesnt taste like General Tso. Its not spicy, breading is soggy. “Hibachi chicken and shrimp” looks like it came out of the microwave and has some clearish-brown mystery liquid on it. I ordered a Hong Kong roll. Its a tiny piece of tempura shrimp wrapped in about 2” solid of white rice, topped with spicy crab. $15 roll with about $0.50 cents worth of ingredients. The fried rice i had to pay extra for is not done all the way, and tastes nothing like fried rice Ive had anywhere else in my life. This place aint worth the effort it takes to open their door.

I used to eat here all the time… For the first time ever I bought my daughter Chinese food when I got mine. Luckily she stopped eating after a couple bites… I got food poisoning!!! I do not use soy sauce… The color of this chicken is literally how it came… Will never eat there again!!!

Food was really good, large size portions with plenty of flavor. They have fountain, canned and bottle drinks. Takes a little extra time to cook the war su gai but it was worth the weight. There are only a few tables for dining in, most of their business comes from carryout.

The sesame chicken combo is amazing because they fry with veggies and add them to the combination. Even though I don’t eat the veggies, it gives the sesame chicken a lot of favor. The rice is a little crunchy but the egg rolls are the best eggs I’ve tasted in Louisville, KY so far.
They also cook the meal after you place the order so it’s really hot and tastes fresh.
Two visits and Imma take my mom so I recommend it even though I miss Chicago’s beef fried rice.

Broccoli – The broccoli was pretty tough. I didn’t enjoy it.

The only reason they’re getting 2 stars instead of one is because they have the best crab rangoons around, but if they mess up on your order they make you feel like it was your fault. They don’t own up to anything they do wrong.
I ordered two sweet and sour chickens, they put the chicken into the pan while it was scalding hot, and it melted the lid to my chicken. They would not do anything to fix the situation. My other container was worse. I ended up throwing it away, everything was uneditable. My second container wasn’t as bad. I was able to salvage most of it.
Now that I told them I was giving them a bad review they won’t stop calling my cell phone this is the third call!
It’s sad this used to be my 2nd favorite Chinese restaurant out of all the Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten at and nows it’s lucky to make my top 20! The only reason I go there is for the crab Rangoons.
Golden star on Taylor Blvd needs more locations. They are hands down the best!!!

This used to be the best place to get take out Chinese. Last two time I have been there they have forgotten part of my order and the food has not been the same. Lo mein has not been good at all dry and we just have not eaten. Food quality has went way down. We will not be going back for the price we had to pay and throw away what we thought was chicken chow mein and what we got was terrible.
