Pho Stanley is hands down one of the best pho spots I’ve been to. I’ve tried a lot of items on the menu, and everything has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. You can really taste the quality in the broth — rich, deep, and perfectly balanced without being overly salty.
My absolute favorite is the House Special Beef Noodle Soup. The portion size is generous, the beef is tender, and the combination of cuts makes every bite different and satisfying. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the fresh herbs and toppings take it to the next level.
The service is always friendly and efficient, and the restaurant has a clean, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re going for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, Pho Stanley never disappoints. Definitely a go-to spot for authentic, comforting pho.

Unfortunately, I’m dropping my rating from 4 to 2 star due to the last 2 meals here.
Today’s Shrimp and Pork Salad Rolls ($9.50) would be better if the pork was sliced thinner as it was a little tough for a dedicate wrapper.
Our Bahn Mi ($8.75) had such a ridiculously small amount of protein (1-lemongrass chicken, 1-lemongrass pork) as in 3 small “pieces” per half (1 “piece” pork all gristle) that we moved all the filling to one end and left the remaining bun uneaten….veggies were good but this gave “shrinkflation” new meaning (see pic).
A bun like this is worth $5 at best….maybe.
The Won Ton Noodle soup I had last time left me so thirsty afterwards.
And while the servers last 2x were more pleasant to deal with than in the past, they still never returned to the table after delivering food to refill tea or water.
Such a shame, with the only other 2 Vietnamese restaurants in the area now gone, Stanley would have an advantage due to its ND location.
However, I’ve given this place enough chances to win me over. Don’t think I’ll be spending my money here anymore.

Kids treated us to a Mother’s Day lunch and food, portions and service were very good. We ordered vegan as well as non-vegan entrees (see pics).
Only observation to note is that peanut sauce for the salad rolls wasn’t very peanuty flavoured.
Based on today’s meal, I am bumping my rating up to 4.5.
Update Jan 2023 **bumping rating from 1 star to 3.5: Gave this long time ND local Vietnamese Restaurant another go after an ownership change last year.
One of the owners was behind the counter tonight, very friendly and his partner Leslie, in the kitchen owns a Vanc. restaurant.
Our server was pleasant, albeit some confusion with our order, also due to our unfamiliarity with the menu.
We ordered the House Special Phò (L) $16.99, Deep fried Spring Rolls (2 to an order, $2.50 ea), Assorted Seafood Wonton and BBQ Pork with Noodles (S) $16.99, Deep Fried Rice Paper Spring Roll $4.50 and a Lemongrass Bahn Mi $8.75 to-go.
The soups were hot (as they should be), the DF Rice Paper Roll was greasy tasting and I didn’t care for it but everything else was good.
Make sure you ask for the chili oil, it’s bomb and a tasty condiment with soup and noodles.
My previous bad experiences were with dayshift employees so I hope the new management has corrected that.
Update Jan 2022: Went with friends for lunch to see if the poor service from hired staff had changed at all. Unfortunately it had not, food is plunked on the corner of the table without any acknowledgement. Nobody came back to check on tea/water refills. Requested the bill and same. Food was ok but the service leaves a bad taste in the mouth and doesn’t warrant a return IMO. Doesn’t seem to affect the local customer loyalty though as it’s been this way for years.
Demoting to 1 star.
Got take out beef noodle bowl (Phō)- large #6 well done brisket and skirt flank-$10.99. Soup was very hot but not as flavourful as Phō99 which is our go-to, but closed. Comes with generous portion of beef and the usual sprouts, cilanto, lime, basil, jalapeño and hoisin sauce.
Hadn’t been for couple years, while the owners are very nice, friendly people, the servers have not always been very attentive (to the point of being rude) in the past.
The food has always been quite good though.
Located in a strip mall with a variety of businesses and ample parking.

Been going here for more than 20 years, I heard it was operating under a new owner last year. We’ve been going here a couple of times, food is still good. Deep fried wonton is still my favorite, pho is still decent.
Price has gone up by double though, and I’m not too sure how to feel about it.
Decent food and good service, might be the last time we come here.

The first time was great. Tonight was horrible. Didn’t get tea or water until after we got the dinner and we had to ask twice. Also had to ask twice for serving plates. The noodles were stale and disgusting. There was barely any seafood on it, and the sauce was bland. Like did you fire the better chef?
On top of that my daughter was excited for a smoothie only to be told that none of the ingredients had been bought for today…

Awesome food, big portions. We frequent this place despite poor customer service because of the food.
Their pho is by far the best I’ve had in the lower mainland. Perfect balance ir flavours and aroma and generous portions. Customer service is pretty average, kinda makes you feel like you are in Asia. The staff are neither polite nor friendly or will crack a smile but they are fast and efficient.

Best pho in North Delta! Tucked away in the corner of the shopping complex so it can be hard to miss. But once you have had one of these amazing dishes, trust me, you’ll never go anywhere else! Food comes quickly and it never dissapoints! Good sized portions for your money too! Whether it’s pho, chow mein, or a simple vermicelli bowl, it’s all delicious!

In terms of quality this place is okay. Not bad, but not great. What I can’t get over is how much they charge. $16.50 for a small beef pho is ridiculous. That’s higher prices than Pho restaurants charge in Vancouver, which is insane because I know this place has way lower overhead.

Upon entering restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the owner and sat down right away. I ordered the lemongrass pork vermicelli with spring roll. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. Service was great, no complaints.

I am very loyal to my usual spot but after seeing the reviews we decided to give it a try. I had the small #12 with the rare beef on the side. I am happy to announce that I was not disappointed!! Priced as usually for this type of dish. This is a great place and the lady who served us was quick but friendly. My only critique would be for them to offer water when you get there as we were only provided with the tea. Tea is nice but I enjoy ice water when I have spicy phò. We will definitely be back as it’s so close to our home
