Dont let your wife or kids come here alone, The owner is rude as hell. Ive seen him curse out women and kids demanding payment upfront while everyone else got to pay afterwards. Mind you these are customers we see every week, folks who live up the block who been coming here 8+ years. Owner is disgusting but the rest of the staff are great, food and atmosphere great. But the owner is a coward who won’t speak to male customers the way he does to female and children.

Solid place to get some good pizza. Their specialty pies and slices are good. The garlic knots are a little small, but otherwise delicious.

The entire bag was full of what I imagine was Marsala Sauce. First and last time I order take-out from them. I’m sure my chicken wouldn’t be dry if I ate in the dining room.

Mid pizza for an okay price. If your in NYC, there’s better pizza for the same price. If your in the neighborhood with nothing else to eat, this will be more than satisfactory.

This was a good place to stop in. Great service.
The dough was chewy.
It was a tad too thin and I like thin but was floppy. The sauce ok.
Cheese perfect.
Baked near perfect but a little dry. Maybe more oil.
I scarfed down two pieces really fast.
Garlic knots are great , sent from heaven.

Been coming here for 20 years and they have yet to disappoint. I’ve seen faces come and go but the food has stayed consistent.

UPDATE: Two emails were sent. Proof is below since Village indicated these emails were not sent in order to discredit my review. Still waiting for a response.

BEWARE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I’ve been customers of Village Pizza for years and years. I was even contemplating writing this review but, I think it’s important to let others (especially the elderly) know! My mom who is 80 years old and hard of hearing ordered three slices of pizza here and a young man who has worked there for years kept referring to my mom as “grandma” which my mom felt very uncomfortable with. Then before she walked out the door, she realized the young man charged her $138.01 for three slices of pizza! When my mom confronted another staff member, they told her it was just a “mistake” and changed the charge to $12.55. My mother felt very uneasy leaving. When my mother returned, she was helped by the same staff member who added a $39.17 tip. My mother was so upset so I attempted to confront the young man and his face turned beat red and he pretended to ignore me. I know the young man by first name because I’ve been going here for years. Since he wasn’t responsive, I confronted the other staff member I spoke to previously about a second problem and was told a second charge mistake was “impossible” and that the dollar amount was too small to be looked into. Regardless, he refunded us but I felt obligated to write this review to warn others about possible scamming. My family and I have been going here for years and years and we feel absolutely violated and betrayed. The owners know me by name here but since this happened, I haven’t spent a dime in here. This business lost lots and lots of money. I hope you’re satisfied with yourselves.

Village Pizza delivered to my address. Less than 2 miles. Then the pizzeria said it was too far. My roommate shares my address and was able to order for delivery. When I would call, they said it was too far. I spoke with the manager to clarify the issue. He said it was a mistake. I have always tipped well and never had an issue. I called a week later after speaking with the manager, and was told by staff they cannot deliver as it is too far. Very confusing as I am less than two miles and my roommate at the same address can receive deliveries. Love the food. Love the veggie minestrone etc but not worth the hassle for delivery and mixed messages from management.
