After living away from my hometown a few years ago, I decided to check out this popular establishment in the mall. I usually bring my camera to capture memories of my trips.
The neon lights with the message “Life is short, make it sweet!” caught my attention. I really vibed with that, especially considering my Mexican heritage, which celebrates the best in sweets and pastries.
However, when the staff asked if I needed anything, I initially said I was just browsing. But then, she rudely and demeaningly said no photos were allowed. There were no signs saying so and it made me feel like I was doing something wrong when obviously there’s nothing illegal about taking a photo to show to my friends and family.
I asked her why, but she refused to answer. It left a bad impression, especially since I was about to make a purchase.
I’m sure the food is good, but the service and the way they spoke to me were not pleasant. 🙁

I’ve gone to this place three times. The firdt time the breakfast sandwich tasted like the person making the foods perfume. The second time I ordered a bagel and got a breakfast sandwich. And now the third time it’s 1030am and they’re closed but someone is inside doing the opening cleaning.

Mighty leaf tea, freshly made donuts, ice cream, and a plethora of savory treats.
Not my favorite donut ever (it had cream sandwiched between a sliced top and bottom half, and the donut wasn’t the taste I’m used to, but it was good for what it was).
Being from Boston I am a bit pickier.
Very friendly and efficient service.

Best discovery in a while! Stumbled in today and ended up grabbing breakfast and 24 donuts for the whole family. The picture doesn’t do these donuts justice! Freshly baked and literally melt in your mouth. Can’t say enough about the service either. Ed and his family are amazing hosts. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming here since they opened downstairs on the corner of the mall. They’ve since moved upstairs and they’ve updated their look a little. We only come here for the Elote (or street corn) but the donuts we’ve tried once in a while are delectable! I adore the new layout and will be coming back again for more!

They have donuts that will have you coming back for more, I bought a lot to take home . I don’t have a sweet tooth but do now for this place . Nice place to stop and sit down to rest while you are shopping . The shaved ice reenergized me ..it is the best , not all foamy weird tasting stuff you get at a drive thru machine- it’s the real deal brain/throat freeze homemade stuff . The people here make it nice too, will be sure to stop by on next outing!

Awesome dessert and savory snacks here. Hot, fresh made mini donuts that are unreal! So delicious. They’ve also got Takis-coated corn on the cob (elote), espresso and ice cream. Really cool place, especially for in a mall.
