We recently visited Grillers in Kissimmee and had a mixed experience. The food had some highlights, but the service could definitely improve.
Our server, Katiuska, was okay, but we didn’t like that she rushed us to order. She mentioned she had a larger table to attend to, which made us feel pressured instead of relaxed and welcomed.
We started with the fried cheese appetizer, served with a guava sauce—absolutely delicious. Crispy, flavorful, and one of the best parts of the meal.
For our main dishes, we ordered the mofongo de pernil, which was very good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the carnitas plate was disappointing, as the meat was very tough.
Overall, Grillers has good flavors and potential, but improving the service and consistency of the food would make a big difference.

Amazing food, service & atmosphere!!! The food was delish! The drinks were on point. You have the option to take a nice take home hurricane glass. We loved it! A bit pricey but well worth the price. We spent $200 for 2 with tip. The drinks on the hurricane glass were $25 but sooo good. We had the Bacalaito for our appetizer. The food was authentic with a sophisticated flare to it. You will love this place like we did. Our server was courteous, energetic & very informative with great recommendations & we were not disappointed. Come check it out!

We were seated right away, and our waiter was very nice and took the time to explain the menu since it was our first visit. The lemonade wasn’t great — they said it’s made fresh, but it definitely tasted more like syrup. We tried both the mango and strawberry lemonades, and both were quite sour.
The presentation of the food looked amazing. I had the fried mahi mahi with fries and the dipping sauce on the side — it was decent, had a nice flavor, just needed a bit more seasoning. My wife ordered the mariscos mofongo, and it looked great with a large portion.
They also had live music, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. Overall, not a bad experience — thank you!

Disappointing Second Visit After a Great First Experience
What a disappointment!
On October 11, 2025, we experienced excellent customer service from a waiter named Jesus. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and everything we ordered was delicious. The food presentation, flavor, and overall execution were truly five-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The drinks, including the wine and mojito, were outstanding! We were so impressed that we decided to return the very next day to host a business meeting and bring our family.
Unfortunately, our visit on October 12, 2025, was completely different. We came as a family of four and ordered two passion fruit juices, one strawberry juice, and one tamarind mojito. The drinks were disappointing both passion fruit juices were watery and bitter, and the mojito was warm with only a few ice cubes. When we mentioned this, the waitress apologized and explained that there was a new bartender.
We ordered the Parrillada Caribeña for six people. It took about 40 minutes to arrive. While the presentation looked appetizing, the flavor did not match. The steak, chicken, salchichón, and chuletas were delicious, but the ribs were seasoned with powdered chicken bouillon and barbecue sauce, resulting in an unpleasant taste. On top of that, the sauces were poured directly over the food, which was unsanitary.
The waitress was kind but clearly inexperienced. For a table of four, she only brought two plates and no utensils, then walked away. We had to wait several minutes for her to return with the rest. Drinks, plates, and utensils arrived at different times, creating unnecessary confusion. Even when she replaced the drinks, the passion fruit juices remained watery and flavorless.
Empty plates stayed on the table until the end of the meal, and despite the clutter, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. We declined and requested two plates to go which she simply handed to my husband instead of packing the food herself. When she brought the bill, she apologized again, saying, “I’m sorry for all the inconvenience; I was busy.” Unfortunately, that excuse was unacceptable.
After such a disappointing experience, we will not be returning.

Te transportas a la Isla. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, los meseros muy serviciales y la comida es espectacular.

We hadn’t had bacalaito since 2017 and this hit the spot! The calamari was also crispy and fresh.

Came here with my wife, my son, and even our dog, and we all had a great time. The vibe was super chill good music, friendly staff, and a nice outdoor setup where our dog could hang out while we ate.
The food was ribs were tender and packed with flavor, the rice and tostones were perfect, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can tell they put love into the food here.
It’s not easy finding a place where the whole family (dog included) can enjoy good food and a relaxed atmosphere, but Grillers Puerto Rico definitely nailed it. We’ll for sure be back again soon.

This is great restaurant with a high quality Caribean food. Every single plate is crafted to perfection. It feels like having the food brought straight from Puerto Rico. It def has one of the biggest menu I’ve seen in a Latin restaurant. Dont get fooled by the size of the restaurant cause is huge in flavor. Thanks Jesus for the outstanding service every time we go. I would recommend to reserve or come early during weekends cause is a real deal. Plenty of parking space and is right off the turnpike and 192. 25 minutes from Disney area. I would def recommend it to friends and family. Great job mi gente and see you soon.
