The prices are too high for what they offer. I was really surprised to see how much they charge for a plain dosa. The taste was just average, nothing special to justify the cost. Definitely not worth the price.

Would you like me to make it sound more polite but firm, or more direct and harsh?
I recently visited Sankalp in Kudasan, Gandhinagar, and had a great dining experience. The Military Ghee Roasted Dosa was a highlight, with its crispy texture and flavorful ghee roast. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and courteous. The person at the reception was also welcoming and efficient.
The ambiance was pleasant, and the restaurant seemed to be well-maintained. Overall, I would recommend Sankalp to anyone looking for good South Indian food in Gandhinagar. The quality of the food and the service make it a great value for the price.
If you’re a fan of South Indian cuisine, Sankalp is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back to try more of their dishes!
One of the highlights frequently appreciated by customers is the quality of the dosas. They are crisp, well-prepared, and served with a generous variety of chutneys that taste fresh and balanced. The Mysore Masala Dosa and Paper Dosa are usually the favourites, while the idli and medu vada are known for being soft, fresh, and not overly oily. Their special rasam and sambar maintain a consistent flavour profile, which regular diners find reassuring.
Service here is generally prompt, even during busy hours. Staff members are polite and attentive, ensuring that orders are served without unnecessary delays. The cleanliness of the restaurant, including tables and cutlery, is another strong point that contributes to a pleasant dining experience.
The menu offers a good range of South Indian dishes along with some North Indian options, making it convenient for mixed groups. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to typical city outlets, but considering the GIFT City location and overall food quality, most customers feel it offers fair value.
For those working or visiting GIFT City, Sankalp serves as a reliable place for consistent food, quick service, and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether for a casual meal, a team lunch, or a comfortable dining option after work, this restaurant remains a solid choice within the area.

The sambhar is unlimited and absolutely delicious, adding to the overall experience. Service is efficient, and the food arrives hot and fresh. A great place for authentic South Indian cravings!
Additionally, the sambar was surprisingly sweet, which did not complement the dosa well. Overall, the balance of flavors and quality needs improvement.
