Our Travels Across America by Triniabell Photography
Today we took to the streets of Durango Colorado. After an amazing drive in and a few stops about town we stumbled onto this amazing hidden gem. It’s authentic creole cooking. It even taste of Louisiana on every bite. Vic ate the alligator po boy and said it was amazing! . Everything from the decore to the gorgeous views outside beg you to come in and enjoy.
Absolutely amazing .

Well, the food was awesome. We split the Combination ($20) and as you can see it was a lot. So much actually that we didn’t even end up going to dinner. Now it was 2:30 once we got our food, but this will give you an idea of the portion for two active guys on a snow bro trip.
The cashier/server was very nice and answered the questions we had. We arrived at 2pm after walking from the hotel to the Animas River Trail and around (crossing the interstate at the first stoplight you get to) until we reached the restaurant. It was 4 mi total. We were the only customers so hopefully it was just the odd hour in a Tuesday because the food was worth the visit.
TL:DR Great food, awesome Bread Pudding
Definitely try the sample plate so you can try everything. It is worth it. We drove up to Lake City and rode our side-by-side here to Silverton to have a quick bite. Definitely stop by. I recommend it. We left the plates completely empty.
The bonus points are the hidden dog friendly patio with gorgeous views. The entrance is tucked away between a few of the hotels all within walking distance of Durango Silverton Train station.
Parking seemed to be plentiful since I visited when there wasn’t any trains running.
Can’t wait to go back and explore menu.
