A truly superior experience. My date and I went for happy hour and enjoyed a dozen oysters, crawfish mac & cheese, and shrimp andouille brochettes. Each item was more impressive than the last. Some of the oysters were huge, the Mac & cheese was very flavorful and full of cheese and crawfish, and the brochettes were a new to me dish and I thoroughly enjoyed the texture of the mashed potatoes and the shrimp were incredibly delicious. The kitchen so graciously divided up our dish into 2 plates, which was appreciated. We sat at the bar and the bartender was also very accommodating and thoughtful to address any needs we may have had. Overall, this is a great choice. I can’t wait to return.

If you’re ordering, the blackened redfish is a standout, and the Korean steak lettuce wraps are absolutely worth getting. Save room for dessert if you can—the carrot cake is to die for.

Food is delicious! Love the happy hour oysters and drinks. We got a lovely beet side salad, gumbo and shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits came with a little salad as well. All the food was delicious! Service was fast and the people were lovely! Recommend for a good sea food experience!

Cool atmosphere, great service. Some items on the high side. Crawfish beignets we’re very good but a little expensive. Delicious blackened catfish with crawfish etouffee; fish prepared well, not overdone and not overly spicy. Crawfish – Andouille sausage risotto was plentiful and creamy delicious. Loved how the bread was served in a whole loaf in a bag with the restaurant’s name on it. Definitely restaurant to try.

Superior Seafood has been a long time favorite of mine. I went with my boyfriend for his birthday recently, and we were so excited, but we weren’t overly impressed. Our server was inattentive and absent most of the night. I’m not sure if they had tables elsewhere or a large party. I made a reservation for 2 and specified it was a birthday celebration. We didn’t order dessert, so maybe that’s why nothing about a birthday was mentioned. The food was great though as always! The fresh bread is always a plus. The mains came with a side salad. We also ordered a half dozen oysters. The oysters were great too! For the price point, I will be going somewhere else in the future.

We were in New Orleans for a few days and this restaurant was one of the highlights to our trip! Amazing food! Everything we tried was so delicious. Our server was so great! He had great recommendations and made our dining experience so much better.
My only complaint is we can’t go back whenever we want since we live so far!

We had a very large group with reservations (30+) and we were sat in the outdoor/indoor patio. The service was great and the food was delicious, fresh and clean. The only problem was it smelled like gas most of the time in one section. They weren’t sure if it was from the heater or the gas lamps outside. But it really detracted from our experience. When I am in the area I will visit again because the food was delicious.

This is not out first go around with Superior Seafood. We have always enjoyed coming here. Today was no exception. The food is always fantastic. The service was just good tonight amd the atmosphere was a bit noisy, but we were not disappointed with the overall experience.

Our server was phenomenal. She gave wonderful suggestions and was very honest in her options, which we always love!
We started with the cornbread and oysters. My husband said the cornbread was so good it reminded him of stuffing and would pair well with some smothered turkey wings. lol.
It really was delicious
There were 3 different types of oysters .. all buttery smooth in texture and soo good.
We enjoyed our entrees as well! The presentation of the shrimp dish was nice and it tasted good.
All and all .. I’ll be back to try something else.
