I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews but I am so glad I did.

We tried Bamboo Garden for the first time last night and were honestly blown away. This is not your typical “Chinese food.” The flavors were balanced, savory, and thoughtfully prepared — nothing overly sweet or sticky. You can tell real care goes into the cooking.

The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices felt very fair for the quality of food you’re getting. Everything tasted fresh and well-made, not rushed or mass-produced.

We will be back!

My husband had the sushi and he loved it. I had the chicken chop suey. The chop suey was extremely salty. I could not eat it. My mom had the beef & snow Peas. Her meal was also extremely salty. It was the gravy that was salty. It was the first time I ate there and I will not be going back.

First time I’ve ever been here. My boyfriend said this was the place for sushi and it is. Everything was really good. I normally don’t like poke bowls where I can’t pick what’s in them but this one was really good. The service was also amazing. I’ll definitely come back.

WOW My daughter and I came in for lunch. We weren’t sure what we wanted, so we tried both sushi and Chinese food.

First, the egg drop soup was delicious. The egg rolls – PHENOMENAL! They’re homemade, and the perfect combination of crunch and delicious filling. A combination of mustard sauce + sweet and sour sauce was a hit for my palate.

Second, the sushi is delicious. With so many choices it was hard to decide. We went with Caterpillar roll and it was very tasty and satisfying

Last we shared the Kum Bow lunch special. I think it’s #14. Another yummy dish.
Service was great, both my waiter and the proprietor were attentive and caring to our needs. Very good customer service! ⭐️

Will come again for sure. Highly recommended and bring your appetite!

I have given this place 5 star review in the past. No today. I ordered the appetizer combo. $15, a cup of egg drop soup and a glass of unsweetened tea. The bill with $2 tip was almost $30. Now I would not complain if you gave me enough food to compensate for that price. The 2 ribs were shorter and smaller than my little finger. One egg roll cut in half. Two chicken legs that were shorter and smaller than my thumb. The waiter brought my food and never came back to check on me except to bring the check. I had to get up and get a napkin since only given one. My wife and I have eaten here many times. The food taste great but this rip will stop me from cooking back. What a rip off! I wish I had taken a photo of that $15 plate of appetizers.

First the bathrooms. The stall i was in had a note that said not to flush toilet paper, so either while you are getting ready to eat, if you use the restroom you are literally sitting next to someone’s used toilet paper in an open waste basket. Second our visit was during a very non busy time. Our waitress had two tables. We requested lemon and sugar twice for our drinks and never received it. Third the lo mein was spaghetti noodles. The crab rangoon was 99% cream cheese. Literally couldn’t hardly see the crab if any. And the worst was after finishing half of my drink we discovered what looked like bugs, possibly flies in the bottom of my glass! Disgusted, i took it to a waiter there who said it wasn’t bugs that the cup must not have been cleaned well. Still disgusting either way! I was offered a new drink in a to go cup! No thanks! We will not return and I do not recommend!

The sushi is phenomenal. Weekly visits have become one of the finest things to look forward to. On the first day I knew it was gonna become an addiction
Our server has been fantastic, and she remembers us. The sushi menu was surprisingly large in my opinion, and overwhelmed me a little at first. Only reading about half of the first page before eagerly making my decision. Everything seems to be uniquely catered in a specific direction, so you shouldn’t find much similarity between items.

From Georgia in town on personal business. Looking for a place to get Springfield Cashew Chicken and they did not disappoint. If we ever have to go back to Mt Home we will definitely go there again!

I’ve been going to Bamboo for over 30 years. The food is always excellent. Since I got out of the Marine Corps I really started liking sushi and Bamboo is the only place in town that makes good, authentic sushi. The owners treat you like family and the restaurant is always clean.

Prices are comparable and the food was flavorful. Kids got a kick out of the sushi names. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. When leaving, we drove around the building, and the kitchen door was open. The kitchen was busy/filled but very clean looking. Inside decorations were beautiful.
