My husband and I love this restaurant. They have fantastic pizza. It’s perfect. Nice crust, great sauce, and good quality ingredients. The pasta tastes really great, too! My only complaint is that we live too far and can’t come as often as we like. The nice thing is that this pizza reheats very well so we can enjoy it at home or at the restaurant. Thank you to the restaurant from some very satisfied customers

I just love this place! It’s low key and unpretentious. Of course, as a true pizza Margherita lover (Neapolitan style) it just hits the spot! Classic wood fired ovens for Naples style pizza. Very fair priced and with a lunch special that keeps me coming back. Great salads adorn the specials menu on a regular basis. Def worth the trip to this true Naples style pizza specialty joint. Not just pizza btw but that’s what I come here for. They seem to take great pride in all they serve up – including the home made chocolate cake, in house food including the croutons and freshly grated Romano cheese. Casual and nice, I like it! Def check it out!

Located in the heart of Loomis, Il Pizzailo is a great place to grab an authentic Italian pizza. Due to a real stone oven, the pizza always comes out with an authentic tasting dough. They also have a selection of Italian beers to go with your order. The biggest complaint I have is the noise level tends to be rather high seeing as the walls and floor are all stone and there is no sound-proofing.

If you’re looking for a good wood fired pizza in the area, this place would appeal to you. We love their classic margherita!! Their specials are also worth trying out, we tried the one with pesto genovese recently and the pesto really packed a punch. The pasta has been a bit of a hit or miss and the price is on the higher side.
Edit: it’s become our go to place for a good margherita in the area! Especially with their happy hour pricing. Loved their cannolo as well, its filling was very luscious and delicately flavored with orange and pistachios.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent even though we had a larger group. Highly recommend. We splurged and had some vanilla and mint n chip gelato. Definitely was worth it.

The pizza again was delicious. A little bit of a wait but hey is a Saturday night. Also got the homemade lemon cheesecake. So worth it. We love coming here and will be back soon.

Made our way over here once again. The people behind the counter were friendly and very helpful. This time we decided to go for the deep dish pepperoni, Never had one before but absolutely loved it. Surprisingly it had a little heat kick to it. But I would definitely get it again.

Beat pizza in town. Hands down.
Classical pizza all made fresh.
Beat part is the service. When you come in it’s a Good chance that the owners will be working.
Pictures don’t do this place justice.
I would I recommend the prosciutto style pizza.
But anything is great. With the wine to match it.
Keep in mind some of their pizzas are very nontraditional and some come without sauce. So have an open mind or ask a lot of questions to make sure you’re getting what you want. Also, they have very good desserts seasonally.

Making a special trip from Folsom, we were excited to visit this wood-fired pizza spot. We ordered margarita and roasted chicken with caramelized onion pizzas, along with garlic bread and a side salad. Unfortunately, there was a significant wait for our food. While the flavors were delicious, we found that either the pizza crust was too thin or the sauce too watery, resulting in toppings sliding off as we ate. However, the tiramisu cake was a delightful treat. As regular patrons of wood-fired pizza places, our expectations are usually high, but there’s definitely room for improvement here.

Cool little shop in a neat part of town. Massive wood fired oven with an open kitchen as you can see everything being made. Started with breadsticks covered in garlic oil. The bread was incredibly fluffy, warm, and had a nice crisp. For pizza I got a pepperoni and added basil and pancetta. The crust was immaculate.. crispy, full of flavor in every bite. Sauce was thin, with a small amount of cheese dolloped on. Solid pie, great service and quality ingredients.
