When I say five stars for food, service, and atmosphere—I cannot emphasize all three enough. Thank you to our server Alexis for checking in and keeping us stocked with drinks and sauces. I didn’t have the self control to get good pictures before I dug in, but the cheese pull on that first bite of Mac and cheese was beautiful. The ribs were massive and saucy. The polish girl was amazing. I could go on and on… the vibe in the restaurant is extremely chill—good music and football on every tv, although Alexis did offer to change the channel for us if we wanted! Everyone dining in looked like they were right at home. We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for mouthwatering BBQ, this place is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm, smoky aroma lets you know you’re in for something special. The ribs were perfect with just the right pull in each bite, the brisket was juicy with just the right amount of smoke, the wings had just the right crispiness & packed with flavor. The smoked pork chop was moist & the flavor is unmatched. The cod was outstanding as well. The smoked burger was incredibly perfection!
The sides deserve their own spotlight—the mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the baked beans had just the right sweetness, coleslaw was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the collards and cabbage were tender with a little spice to them. Portions are generous, so come hungry!
On top of the food, the owner & staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, perfect for both family dinners and hanging out with friends. There was a band also & that added some much needed fun to our evening!
Hands down, the best BBQ spot I’ve ever been to—we will definitely be coming back & bringing friends & family!

If you’re looking for Barbeque in Cleveland/Lakewood this is the place for you. You can smell the aroma as soon as you walk in. It was a tough decision but I settled on the Polish Boy and a Back Porch Lemonade. Totally worth it! I look forward to my next trip to Cleveland to stop in again and try the rest of the menu.

Wings and Cornbread 10 out of 10. Brisket was bland and fries were cold and soggy. Great atmosphere. Server was slow, great attitude but was texting behind the bar instead of getting drinks. Took 15 to get check

I realize all businesses have a bad day. This was my first time coming in. I make a lot of BBQ and sometimes just want a good meal of someone else’s BBQ,which is hard to find. At any rate,I walk in ordered to go. Served by a very polite young lady who’s people skills were spot on. I had researched the food and decided the 3 meats and sides would be sufficient for my wife and myself, considering the internet had said the serve hearty portions. I also ordered 1/2 lb of pulled pork. She said if I wanted ribs, which I did,it would be about 25 min. I said that’s fine,I’ll wait. It took 1 hr and 10 min. To get the food. That’s ok…I missed an appointment waiting but I understand sometimes BBQ takes a bit longer. I had ordered brisket, ribs and wife wanted chicken. I also got baked beans, mashed and collards. I would’ve thought waiting so long for the food that they would’ve been a little heavy handed on the servings. No sir,I got a 3 oz. Piece of chicken…I know because I weighed it. 2/12 small slices of brisket….however I did get 4 rib bones. One small spoon of baked beans and the same for the collards. At least I got 1/2 of a container of mashed. For a total of 53$ it’s very disappointing and I drove 45 min. To get it. I will try them again because like I said, everyone has a bad day. I have about 20 friends and families waiting on my personal stamp weather to try this place or not. I’m not going to tell them about this experience because based on service and quantity alone on this visit,I’d never eat here again. I feel almost taking advantage of.

Ok the ribs were ok the turkey was dry the sides were lack luster the chicken. Philly was smoked and good the fries were not all the way done the ladies behind the bar were invested in them selves not the people the guy came along and took my order the reason I went was because of the reviews an yelp
But in the end I was not satisfied might give another try but no time soon maybe I came on a bad day

I decided to order takeout from here last night and I can honestly say, this may be the best barbecue place on the West Side of Cleveland. I ordered the 2 meat, 2 sides plate for $30 and the portions were extremely generous! The sauce that the ribs were drenched in was the perfect mix of tanginess and sweetness. All of the meat was super tender and flavorful and the sides were a knockout. I would highly recommend coming to this hidden gem!

Absolutely delicious! This place knows how to do comfort food right. We ordered a burger with fries and a BBQ plate with coleslaw and smoked turkey — every bite was packed with flavor. The burger was juicy with a perfectly toasted bun, and the fries were thick-cut, crispy, and golden. The BBQ plate was a standout — tender, smoky meats with a side of fresh slaw and rich, flavorful sauce. You can tell they care about quality and presentation too; everything was served hot and looked just as good as it tasted. Great service and a relaxed vibe make this spot a new favorite. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved Sweet Pork Wilson’s! We went for my husband’s birthday and will make it a new tradition. We started out with wings. They were so good. We had the brisket, pork, turkey, and ribs. I couldn’t tell you which we liked best because they were all exceptional. When you go, you have to try the collard greens. I will order double next time! The mac and cheese and beans were very tasty, too. Our server, Demetrius, made our drinks, helped us with our food selections, and made us feel so welcome. Great place. Looking forward to another visit very soon.

My husband and I were on the Westside and decided to grab something to eat. We looked up places, and ” Sweet pork Wilson’s” were one of the options that popped up. We loved the fact that it was black owned, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a nice, cozy little BBQ spot. I could see on a busy day/night that parking could be a little hectic. But fortunately for us, it wasn’t that night. We were greeted once we walked in by the bar tender and told to seat wherever we wanted. They had a nice crowd, but there were still several seats available. Once seated, we were greeted by our server India to take our drink orders. India was great. She gave us great recommendations on the drinks and food. She also gave fun Auntie vibes. We loved her. We tasted almost everything on the menu. We ordered the happy hour specials, which were fried pickles, pulled pork sliders, and the jerk wings. Everything was fresh and hot. All 3 appetizers were delicious, but our favorite of the 3 were the p.p sliders. I would definitely order all 3 apps again. Now, for the entree, I had the 3 meats with 3 sides. Brisket, ribs(4ct), and grilled chicken thighs. The sides were mac and cheese, greens, and smashed potatoes. My meal was absolutely mouthwatering. My favorite was that smoked brisket it was so juicy and meaty. The ribs were practically falling off the bone, and the thighs were juicy and grilled perfectly. That Mac and cheese was so yummy, and the greens were flavorful, and the smashed were okay. My husband had the 2 meat plate with baked beans and fries. His meat was smoked turkey and ribs (4ct) he loved loved the ribs . Baked beans were good. However, he wasn’t a fan of the smoked turkey breast, and we never received the fries. I think they ran out. Oh, we also tried the cornbread, and it’s a must-have with your meal. It was sweet and buttery. By the time we left, it was almost a full house, and India was on top of it. This restaurant gets a 5-star from us from the service to the delicious BBQ. The Adams will definitely be back, and we’ll make sure everyone knows about this BBQ treasure on the Westside.
