I purchased a Cod fish combo. The fish was crispy and but I know old grease when I taste it They didn’t give me a fork or spoon to eat the coleslaw. I had to ask for hot sauce.
This fish waa fried crispy as I requested . I just wish they’d gave me a fork, and use fresher grease.

8/2024: Great spot for chicken tenders or fingers, whatever you call them. Friendly service and quick delivery. Fries taste a bit different to me but perfect crunchiness, with the best Texas toast I’ve had, and a bonus extra tender as a reward.

I call this place Canes of the North, but it might even be better than Cane’s. My wife & I stumbled on this spot initially at The Palace of Auburn Hills, but found a location closer to home. They have the best chicken fingers in the Metro Detroit area and the sauce that comes with them is definitely a plus. Each meal is cooked to order so its always fresh. The food is affordable and they have combos as well. I’ve also tasted the cat fish & shrimp which are pretty solid but you can never go wrong with the chicken fingers.

Chicken is incredible. Love it. The sauce is to die for. Love it. Even the bread is awesome.
I often get the 6 piece combo. Haven’t tried the fish. Im told the fish is great also.
The owner really tries to be personable and take care of his customers. Great guy. Always friendly.
The seating area is always clean, and the walls have great old photos of Detroit, but overall kinda quiet and just OK. Not bad, passable.
Biggest drawback is that they are closed Sundays and close at 7pm daily.

Delicious food! Chicken fingers were tender, tasty, and cooked perfectly with a crispy crust. Came with coleslaw and fries both also very good. Service was wonderful and the place was clean. Very much enjoyed my experience here!

If you haven’t tried Uncle Joe’s Chicken yet, your missing out on a delicious experience. To me this place is a well kept secret. I recently visited them again, and when I received my order I couldn’t even make it home to enjoy my food. Shame on me, I sat right in the car and dug in. Guilty of being shameless, but I enjoyed every bite. Please come see for yourself and support I guarantee you will not be disappointed !!

Food was very fresh and tasted great. We got the uncle joes combo and jalapeño poppers and everything was good and priced very fair as well. The uncle joes sauce is very good. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Highly recommended and would go back!

Taste like Zaxby and Canes. Looks like Zaxby and Canes. It is Detroit version of Zaxby and Canes with fried seafood on the menu. Food is good , chicken not as salty as Zaxby. No sweet tea though but fruit punch is sweet enough
