The place was beautiful The food was fantastic. The drinks were amazing.
However, they were so busy that when they brought you your meal.. They neglected to bring you your silverware. Unless you asked for it or chopsticks, if you prefer and they didn’t bring any napkins either. And then, you know, there’s a lot of sauces on that food, make it sticky.
The place was very clean.I’m going back again.

Fugu is an absolute gem! The food bursts with fresh, innovative flavorss …. sushi rolls and nigiri that melt in your mouth, paired with creative small plates that keep you coming back.
Service is spot on!
attentive staff who know their stuff and make you feel right at home without hovering.
The atmosphere? Cozy yet upscale, with soft lighting and ocean vibes that scream perfect beachside escape.

The place is really nice and staff is really friendly. The flavors of the food is really good only problem is the fish portion. We got the sashimi platter advertised as thick slices of fish only to find slithers of fish. It’s fresh but very skimpy portion. The fugu sushi tasted more like a cucumber instead of sushi because of the lack of fish. The enter the dragon had the potential of great flavor of you could taste the salmon more instead of the lemon slice, good texture on the salmon skin. Here’s my thing if you charge people give your best and not skimp. If you have to charge more to make more money then do so instead of sacrificing the quality. Price isn’t cheap but the fish portion is definitely lacking. I hope they improve it because it’s a really good place with great potential.

ABSOLUTELY fantastic. It was mine and boyfriend’s first time here and we both left with mouths so happy that we couldn’t stop smiling! Natalie was making great recommendations and took exceptional care of us. We sat at the chef’s bar and Sam, Chris, and Ethan preparing the sushi were EXCEPTIONAL! They deserve all the tips (hint hint) no matter where you sit! Our only downfall was that we haven’t been here sooner. If you’re a sushi lover, PLEASE give it a try! Absolutely phenomenal!! The toro (best cut of tuna), smoked eel (unagi), and the dragon balls appetizer are hands down favorites!

Pretty nifty space with UV reactive artwork on the walls and ceiling. Food and drinks were great. We ended up spending quite a bit with drinks, appetizers, multiple rolls, and dessert. It’s possible to spend less than the amount we spent. We’ll be back but probably not with a heavy of a splurge.
The cocktails were definitely the highlight of the evening as they were fun and well made.

Fugu dominates for sushi. Unique bar that opens to covered patio overlooking the Intracoastal. Tried the Jalapenito for the first time. Will not be the last. Tuna-albacore-hamachi, and amazing. Full bar, good wines and Sake. Def a local fav.

This is a very fusiony restaurant with funkier type sushi rolls. I have been eating sushi for 25 years but I would never order it from this place again. They put these weird sauces on most of the special rolls that are meant for steaks, like chimicurri on of them, for example. It was pretty gross.
To top it off, the happy hour sushi was a joke. They were super tiny, barely any fish in them, with only 5 pieces per roll. The “spicy” ones weren’t spicy at all.
On the bright side, the appetizers including dragons bites and bang bang shrimp (a ubiquitous Florida dish) were quite tasty.
Extra star for being very dog friendly. A representative would feed dogs on the front patio fresh cooked chicken breast.
Was served iceless glass of water. Requested ice water and took over 10 minutes to get it. They were pretty busy, but c’mon.
