Wife and I have made this a usual stop for ourselves because the food never disappoints! The most authentic Mexican you will find in Georgetown! So much flavor in every bit. Empanadas are a must!

First time for me multiple times being here for my wife, and she really likes it here.
She had the puerco en salsa roja, refired beans which came with a slice of queso fresco, and it was delicious, i tried it!
I had the empanadas de pollo, and they were also so good. The empanadas are made with fresh masa and deep fried when ordered!
The corn tortillas were also freshly made.
For dessert, we had churros with ice cream, and they were so good also. The only bad thing we encountered is the chips. They were not fresh, we didn’t ask to have them replaced since we just wanted food. The salsa for the chips was really good and spicy!
The ambiance was good if you are into oldie Spanish music, but its not loud, so it was ok, I like the songs since I grew up listening to them. The staff was very friendly also.

Overall, good place for authentic mexican food,
The price could be lower on some plates, but it was ok. Will definitely keep coming back to try their other plates.

Ordered: Mojarra frita, flautas, coctel de camarón, and a massive parrillada!! Everything tasted authentic and delicious. The mojito was SO refreshing! The restaurant was so cool, we stayed longer because of the calm, and cool, and spacious atmosphere! Thank you for this town jewel!!!

took 15 Minutes to get greeted. Got silverware and napkins after our food arrived and ordered trio fajita.. came with .5 ounce of beef 1 oz chicken and 2 shrimp for 20.99… house margaritas, undrinkable. I retuned it and they still
Charged me for it even thought I didn’t drink it. There is no manager there. I’ve seen so many good reviews. That was not the experience we had tonight

Really great food that isn’t too greasy. Checks all the boxes for me: The salsa is 10/10 and the cucumber-pineapple aqua fresca is absolutely fantastic and I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else in town. I’m happily surprised by this place.

My review is from March im just now getting to it
We showed up maybe 2 hours before closing time. Not packed maybe 2 families eating at the time and 2 more showed up a little after.
The place is pretty good size inside with pretty neat dia de los muertos stuff on the walls. Parking is small but then idk how packed it can get.

Our drinks stayed dried for a while. When the food came out it looked appealing but when it came to taste the refried beans were the best thing on the plate. My husband also mentioned that the best thing on his plate eere the refried beans.rice was on the dry side.My daughter had some stake she mentioned it tasted good but was confused as to why they would dump charro beans ontop of her steak. My youngest daughter got a burger and mind you she loves to eat just the patties with cheese and she took 1 bite and did not want it. So that says a lot. For being a Mexican restaurant i was not impressed at all and especially paying $90.

Fantastic place and can’t believe more people don’t frequent it. Not greasy, homemade corn tortillas, Mexican cinnamon coffee at breakfast, great friendly service and super clean. Check, check, check.

Three times over the last month I’ve tried to order and the gentleman answering the phone couldn’t complete basic sentences in English much less take my very very simple order. I’m all for equal opportunity, but if Spanish is your first language I think you should also be fluent in English if you’re customer facing. Love this place but can’t get an order placed to save my life. Last night I had to ask to place an order no less than 8 times then it fiinally made sense to him. Then my name was the issue. Somehow I became “Richard” and didn’t want to fight for my food anymore. And the order is tacos. Nothing earth shattering. Nena. Help.

Edit: tonight I’m left with no dinner because the same thing: people taking orders do not pay attention. I doubt I’ll be back.
