My father and I tried Taqueria El Azteca’s new location on Ocean Ave. in Wildwood and we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. You can tell that the owners went to great lengths to renovate and fill out their new space because it is so nice, new and clean inside.
To start, my father and I each enjoyed the Watermelon drink. It tasted fresh and naturally sweet. My father ordered the Azteca Taco Al Pastor and received 3 overstuffed pork al pastor tacos. The tortillas were homemade and were very filling. I enjoyed an order of the Noodles Birria (Birria Beef Ramen) and it was phenomenal. A very creative fusion dish that was perfect for a cold winter day.
All in all, we’re very happy to see that Taqueria El Azteca is doing well enough to open their second location and we’ll be enjoying their delicious cuisine again soon!

Hands down the BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN CAPE MAY COUNTY! So good that they’ve recently added a second location AND opened near the boardwalk. Run don’t walk! The Birria Nachos and the Chicken Tacos Dorados are amazing. The juices are incredible- we love the watermelon and the cucumber lemon (complete with tajin rim!) They are open year round. Everyone is so kind. RUN DON’T WALK!

The enchiladas were tasty with a verde mild sauce on top. The beans were stewed nicely and the flavors were bold. The rice still tasted fresh, and wasn’t hard or crunchy in a left out to long way. I appreciate that.
The horchata was sweet and spiced just the right amount. The Aztec fries were loaded up, and came with sour cream and guacamole on the side. Thanks!
About 8 tables or so on the inside, and any close parking to the restaurant you will most likely have to pay for.

Pleasant staff, but the food? Absolutely amazing. This just replaced my prior favorite taco spot which was Bodega in Miami. Tacos are so packed you could beat someone with it. Full of flavor and made with love.

The staff is great and attentive, the food is the best and most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in the area. I’ve had their lengua, birria, steak and shrimp, the birria ramen is also a favorite.

This was the Wild Burrito last year which we loved and was sad they were gone but decided to try the new place. We were seated upon entry and waited for our waiter. I almost left when a customer who was seated after us got helped before us. My wife told me to give it 10 minutes and if they don’t come we’ll leave. The waiter came right before we left his name was Jose and he was polite and friendly. We ended up getting chips and pico and I got the Al Pastor tacos while my wife got the Al Pastor Azteca tacos. Have to say that they were delicious! The Al Pastor was juicy and very flavorful and my wife Azteca were loaded to the top! We were stuffed by the end and left very satisfied. Definitely recommend!!

The food is absolutely delicious, authentic. Has flavor, even the salsas, they aren’t watered down either. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We went while it wasn’t busy, they had music on which wasn’t overwhelming. The quantity and quality of the food is great, and prices are reasonable. Will return! thank you!

Small restaurant, seats maybe 30 people. Nothing fancy but the BEST Mexican food we’ve ever had! Photos of the crunchy tacos & beef Burrito. Worth the short walk.

The food was absolutely delicious! Each of us were happy with what we ordered and the big portions mean there’s plenty of leftovers for a second meal. This is going to be my new go to in Wildwood! Highly recommend.
