First time ever at McAllister’s and all I can say is I’m impressed! Staff were very warm and welcoming (awesome!) Also very patient & helpful as I took some time trying to decide what I wanted. Food tasted so good. I got a pick 2 sandwhich and salad, cookie and drink. Everything was fresh and they took extra caution to be sure my food was right (I have an allergy). If you ever get a chance I highly recommend giving McAllister’s a try, it may just become your new favorite

I was a little leery of dining in at this location after reading some reviews on the customer service; however, my family and I had a very good experience. The food was delicious, and Sandra provided top notch service. She was helpful, pleasant and patient while we ordered and delivered our food with a smile. She also came in clutch with a plate of pickle spears when they were left off our order!

Great Location!! I had the club sandwich with potato salad. A Caeser chicken salad. And Macaroni & cheese. It was Delicious! This location was very clean. And the staff were very polite. This is a perfect place to get lunch. Very modern & up to date in terms of style & decor. I will be returning. I also love the rewards system they have. Dont forget to sign up if you haven’t already..

Stopped for dinner while traveling and placed an order to go. Had to repeat my order 3 times to the cashier because she wasn’t paying attention and keep turning to talk to another employee. We waited patiently for 25 min to get our order only for it to be completely wrong. Ordered a half reuban and potato soup. I received broccoli soup, and the reuban didn’t have cheese or sauerkraut. Order a new Yorker on white bread, and it had no cheese, no sauerkraut, no pastrami and it was on rye bread. Seriously 25 min and they screwed up everything. Didn’t notice until we got back on the road. Should have go to subway, at least we can watch them make the sandwiches and know its correct. Complete waste of money.

These were some of the friendly faces I saw on Opening Day at the McAlister’s in Anderson today. The food was great! There were many employees ready to help. I even saw the GM pick trash up from the ground.

Ordered two sandwiches. One was substituted with the garlic mayo and the other had regular mayo. The sandwich with the special mayo ended up having no mayo and the sandwich that was suppose to have regular mayo ended up having the special mayo. Also selected to have my sandwich on a croissant instead of the regular bread but instead they still put it on regular bread and halfway wrapped it instead of putting it in a box. The sandwiches were not well put together and very sloppy. We called 20 minutes later and the manager said that the $30 charge would be refunded and would fall off. We’re about 9 days later and still no refund. It sucks because this place could really thrive in Anderson.

My friend and I met tonight (1/2/25) to catch up and had a wonderful experience. I ordered a half salad and half sandwich. My friend’s food came quickly, but mine was taking a little longer. We were enjoying our chat, so didn’t mind the wait. The manager (whose name I didn’t catch!!), came out and let me know he had searched the entire store, but they were out of the gluten free bread I had requested on my half sandwich. He apologized profusely and gave me the choice of anything else on the menu. I let him know a half baked potato would be fine, but he insisted on bringing a full to make up for the inconvenience. When my food came out, I had a full salad as well! The food was fresh and delicious. About 45 minutes later, (yes we were still talking ) the manager came back out to confirm what sandwich I had originally ordered. He said they had just received more gluten free bread and he wanted to make give me a full sandwich to make sure I was fully satisfied with my experience.
I was blown away by the kindness, graciousness and integrity of this manager! He seemed to have very good rapport with his staff and was very kind and attentive to all who came in. I was not expecting any of his additional kindnesses and would have been perfectly happy with a replacement item.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! I’m looking forward to returning again soon! I hope this review will reach him so he knows how much his thoughtful and caring attitude was appreciated!!
